Brilliant album. Collab with Ty Segal and Ex-Cult. Check out out ex-cult for more punk rant.

Listened to this one yesterday for this first time in forever. Though Dealing With It is my fave, this is probably their best imo. Demands volume.
There are some good punk documentaries on Amazon.

sadly still relevant.
On that^^^, does anyone else quietly mutter the rest of the line anytime they hear ‘John Wayne’ mentioned?
Everytime I hear John Wayne mentioned. Been doing it for over 30 years. At least he's not anymore.
It is sad that in those 30 years not much has change. America, land of the free. Free to the power of the people in uniform.

I saw DGA a couple times in Portland. Fun band. Pals of mine opened for them.
^ Hell yes. Fantastic EP.
I know it's not punk, but it fits the times too well to not post it:

I own that Poison Idea CD. Early 80’s Portland music scene was all time. Wipers, Confidentials, Sado Nation, Rats, so much going on them.
Fuck...another good one down. RIP CHI PIG.

Back in 1979, my neighbors cousin from Australia came to visit for the summer. She turned me onto the Stranglers with a cassette of No more Heroes.
Loved their groove ever since, Dreamtime a favorite for life.

New Idles is out!
Well, now I want to hear some prime Bob Mould/Hüsker Dü.

Yesss. I still spin New Day Rising on the turntable once in a while, and I always thought that was one of the coolest album covers. One of the great (first world) tragedies of my life was when my albums got stolen and I lost my copy of "Statues," the first single Husker Du ever released and that I bought like the first day it was available. Just for sentimental reasons I really wish I still had it. I'll have to check out the new Bob Mould.
good modern stuff:
