there's always a "custom tip" option, isn't there? and you put in "0" as your custom tip.
That would work. Haven't seen cash in years though. I'm more annoyed at the idea of tipping for the kind of "service" I received. Slicing the meat, maybe, that's some actual work. But ringing in a bag of coffee is a bit over the top.
It was actually nowhere to be found on one of the iPads which really surprised me...
Got hit with that at Subway the other day. At least the guys at doing some custom work there but tipping still feels weird and wrong at fast food joint pushing extremely overpriced subs

My friend was telling me about a restaurant in Berkeley that has a big sign that says "We Pay a Living Wage" (by law but they don't mention that( AND charge a mandatory 18% for service. I guess that's where the living wage comes from.
