The map is really drawn in a misleading way. The Gondolas are fine and of solid length but the chairlifts between Gütsch and Schneehühnerstock are rather short. Different ratio between them and Schneehühnerstock-Gondola than on the map if my experience did not misslead me.Quote:

Fuckery on the part of Iceland Air... cancelled flight.
Unimpressed with the outfit, to say the least.
Options include refunding the fare or rebooking on a different day... but the latter would make the ticket non-refundable. Not comfy with the shifting schedules and general feel of the setup.
I'll probably get the refund and grab another ticket with a more reputable carrier. (Is there such a thing?) Delta has an ok option, looks like.
MoFro shared these flights and is in a similar situation with other travel immediately prior to this trip.
