Ha ! That boat was used by my old unit. Over 10 years after my time though. That would be a fun boat to buy.

^ does it come with a government credit card to win the race to the nearest fuel dock?
Went boat shopping and got myself a birthday present. Will arrive in a couple weeks. I'd been on a waitlist for a slip for 9 years and this was the most boat they would allow on the slip. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...74add4ac2e.jpg

Nice! That'll get the job done. I've heard good things about Worldcats but have never been on one. Congrats.
Where is there a 9-year waiting list for a slip? Just wondering.
Should ensure smooth trips back from Nantucket and Cuttyhunk when the afternoon chop kicks up. Got riggers and radar so we can do some fishing.
Slip is 20'3" wide. Other boat has a 9'3" beam and I'll have a 9'2". Gonna be tight....
I actually have the same boat as the other boat but its 22yrs old and a bear to maneuver with a single OB.

Nice VT! Sweet little boat right there. You’ll get plenty of fun trying to park that thing when you’re racing a storm home and have a stiff crosswind. But hey, that’s what bumpers are for [emoji12]
After seeing the tight slip, i added the joystick.

You'll be fine. Just remember the old adage, "never dock going faster than you're willing to hit something". Took me a while and a little carnage to to get that one beaten into my brain.
Saw this being transported up I-95 today:

I suppose it's okay, if you like that kind of thing.
Caliban's sister is for sale: https://www.alliedmarine.com/used-ya...sale/6885704_2
No hurdle for a high stepper like yourself @ $1.65MM
A friend of mine, who has been a captain and project manager for the past 25 years, started building custom boats last year. He just launched hull #1:

This was a fun weekend.
That's cool! What river?
Snake?
Yep. It's a buddy's boat. 23' HCM. I want to say a supercharged 383ish single. Stayed at a ranch midway and hunted out of the boat. Rafted that river a bunch, never jetted. Totally different program in a jet boat.
Cast and blast.. Good times.
Nice man! Sure miss Hells Canyon. I used to run it in a jet a bunch when i first moved to Idaho, super fun. Bass, steelhead, sturgeon and chukar all in the same day.
Great canyons down there. Beach camping on the Salmon/Snake... the best!
Did a 8-day float trip on the middle fork of the Salmon in 2010, cool country in there.
I’ve always wondered with jet boats: do you push em upriver from the takeout? or...? Serious
