Good for you. But how would you have done on a snowboard?

I just watched the women's boardercross and the last few semi-finals were fukkin gripped. Jacobelli, the favorite who chunked the gold doing a showoff grab in Torino, went down in the semi's for the shocker. Good head to head and toe to toe action on the course.
I'm not the biggest fan of BX either, especially when the course is so bumped out that everyone is sliding and spinning around. What do you think of Parallel GS though? I think it's just as entertaining to watch as skier slalom. What I don't understand is why they won't do a snowboard Super-G race. That would be pretty amazing to watch I would think.
There should definitely be a skier halfpipe too. You've already spent all that money carving out and maintaining the pipe, just let the skiers run it too!

Are you sure that wasn't Pedobear? ....... ;)
I'm surprised they haven't added skier halfpipe by now anyway. Snowboarding halfpipe is relatively new by olympic standards but after spending loot on cutting the damn thing it does seem real stupid not to let the skiers run it. But then again it may bring the ratings down if nbc doesn't have figure skating on all day instead of USA hockey...schmucks
Hah -- ~V~ and I just bribed some kids with candy and Molson Ice to let us cut in line

I'm enjoying the Ivans take apart Latvia right now ... I'll be watching a lot of CNBC these coming nights if they keep showing hockey.
Ski half pipe didn't get their act together soon enough on the world cup stage to qualify itself as an established event. They needed a certain number of FIS world cup events a couple years back for it to be included. It should have no problems for Sochi.
Canada's game was a blast tonight. I am becoming the zen master of 'managing' lineups and 'upgrading' to wicked seats!!
who's that dude in the white with the flag? :D

We went down to LiveCity Yaletown afterwrads to see Alexisonfire. Moshed to the punk warmup band and it was going super fun time. Then the crowd surged big time for Alexisonfire and annihilated the barrier at the front of the stage. Concert cancelled and we were out!
Pulver...did I see you on the screen midway though the second? Like full on close up? could have been the 8 beer I had but I swear I saw you based solely on photos posted from you at cypress...or was it splat...irregardless..i love tgr
Apparently about 8,000 people per event disagree a bit with you.
Sorry I know you are a meadow skipper and all and Nordic is the old grandpa of skiing, but it's about as exciting as watching paint dry for the most part.
That from the father of a high level competitor at a local championship race. J1s qualifying for Nationals.
Posting from the Whistler bus on our way to the women's DH, should be awesome. Despite the Cypress logistical junk show, this has been a fantastic experience so far. Hope to post a TR at some point tomorrow morning before we pregame for the US hockey game
Yeah Pulver, way to live it up! :yourock:
Not personal. I just don't see how you could think watching Nordic anything could be more interesting than watching a SBX race. Now that's funny.
Contrived? Maybe. Besides I know you are all right and this is just the interwebz. And I like your dog, and you post stoke.
So no bunched panties here.
Vonn is nuts.
Paerson - Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatttttttttttttt????????????????? ??????????????????????????

Vonn is mopping up the competition

Is it safe to say there is absolutely no free or reasonable priced parking in the Whistler area right now?
I'm working the Alpine events and the action from the spectator area is boring and contrived. You cannot appreciate the action unless you are on the course. Watching it on TV is probably the best way to view. I feel sorry for all those people who paid top dollar to sit in the stands and watch the race on the jumbo-tron.
