I picked up a nice one in Whistler over the weekend: 33 Acres of Ocean West Coast Pale Ale by 33 Acres Brewing. Beer in Canada sure has come a long way since the Labatt, Molson, and Kokanee days.
So i found out that I am boring and like IPAs and especially NEIPAs best. which of those breweries on this list from the US should I try?:

iT's my easiest way to get stuff here in "Helles"-land SW Germany and i usually just randomly click on NEIPAs or IPAs i havent tried. I had a firestone brain melt which I really enjoyed

well anyway.... Anything that stands out on the list that i have to try? (I don't want you to browse the NEIPA list so i Thought the one page breweries list is not too much effoert ;) )

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but any one of those beers from the US are totally fucked by the time they get to you… They literally taste nothing like what they would if they were fresh or even purchased 60 days after canning if stored cold. Hoppy beer starts to go downhill after 4 days at room temp, even if your packaging capabilities are insane. By the time they cross the pond they’re literally toast. Spend your money on beer brewed closer to home and ideally go to the brewery to buy it if you can.Quote:

From what they had in stock, given the limitations of transit, I do not think you would discover anything at 5€ a can or 60€ a 12-pack. Just like bitd the US “beers of the world” joints left you with the impression every beer was expensive and skunky.
