I was wearing motocross T-shirt from Southwick.
His 6’4” stuck out.
But my 5’3” drew more attention.
I saw confederate flags, Trump/NRA supporters, camouflage, big trucks, cigarette smokers, oxygen tanks and even saw couple people taking centerpiece at our hospitality tent which was just small flower pot.
I had very little to non common ground with the most people at the race.
They stared at me with no facial expression which was creepy.
(I really was the only Asian. Saw some African Americans though)
But once we had any kind of interaction, they were very nice and chatty.
It was a cultural experience.
But let’s say I’m okay not going back anytime soon.
