Wow!
I don't know if this belongs in this thread or the RV thread, but this GoldWing camper is amazing.

GOTOS for motos

Replaced my roasted clutch. New tires felt great on my test loops. Might have time to adjust TPS before race. Got some Stegz Pegz showing up today.

How many hours are on that clutch? I did one on a 250 xcw with 350hrs and the plates still looked pretty good. It was a 2t and I imagine a 4t might wear faster? KTM stock clutches are bomber! What kind of race are you doing?
I had 188 hours on it. Probably 6 hard Enduro races in those hours. Plus I ride a lot of 1st and 2nd gear singletrack
Next race is a hard Enduro. Haven't raced for 3 years now but I'm feeling strong

I do not need that
Buying it would be a way for you to try out a different set of tires.
Worth a shot. Hope they work out for ya
It went well thanks. Mostly clean race. 4 out of the 5 tests were downhills. One of which was the craziest downhill we've ever done on a moto. I'm stoked that I won all stages in my category but I'm also humbled that the real fast people were much faster on all stages. The pros are ridiculous.

Congrats, that's cool
"I’ve used it for a summer it has an issue with it bogging and haven’t really tried fixing it but while it was working I loved it"
'01 wr450 10k miles,
Odds it's something other than the carb?
Guess it makes sense to bring a compression tester, too.
Haven't owned a dirtbike since 7th grade.
I could have written this exact thing. Every time I think about how to spend a day recreating, bicycles, running shoes, or climbing shoes have won out this year over motos. At least I'm using my streetbike to get to those other activities so the throttle hand is getting some use.
Unless your budget is REALLY tight and that bike is under $1000, I'd look elsewhere. 10k mi is a lot for a dirtbike and WRs weren't very good way back then. That one almost certainly needs a top end job, which isn't cheap even if you do it yourself.
If you're looking for something to ride actual trails, you'll be way happier on a 2t 300 and the maintenance/repairs will be less expensive. It will also be like 40# lighter than that WR.
A Wr450 head has 5 very expensive titanium valves....
Last time I rebuilt the top end of my 1995 xr100 it never ran again. Then I learned what timing was. Oops.
This was listed at $1500. Tight budget yes also realistically am I gonna buy a bike? Probably not. Likely used for dirt road for raft shuttling but maybe some singletrack too.
Picked up the Acerbis LED. Way better than the stock. Wasn’t as cheap as the Chinese ones but much better price than a lot of the others out there. Real easy switch over.

Looks like a cool drive evdog. Nice pictures you posted there.
Very nice thommy! I installed the same light this summer after cracking the stock lens. Did yours come with the KTM sticker on the mask?
