DeSantis is a loser.
In a parallel world, the Republicans could easily be using medical mandates as means to improve national security. When will we see the DHS/DOD intervene at some point and say that it's not good to have our population die? Maybe not for this COVID-19 virus, but the next one could be much more severe and medical mandates would be necessary to keep the country alive and be able to defend itself from foreign enemies.
Be fair, the fall of the Berlin wall wasn't much of a threat to liberty, either.

Slightly puzzling as OR's hospitalization rates per 100k are about 1/3 that of the country's leaders (MS, AL, FL I think, though check your favorite site). And not much higher than CA's. Ah, I bet it's the steepness of the curve. They must have a proactive governor looking ahead 2 weeksQuote:
