Thanks for the Intel on that. Having been a frequent spectator of Seafair and occasional tri cities races back in the golden days, I was wondering when/where that was. I'll never forget the flip that ended the life of Dean Chenoweth. My favorite pilot of the time.
Here he is surviving a speed record attempt, at 200 mph. I was there, on the log boom, getting hammered as usual. It being Seafair race day today, I kind of feel out of touch, the classic boat sponsorships long gone, Miss Bud, Atlas Van Lines, Squire Shop.
