Nice stoke all around, I like the pink reflection off the snow from the Worth Posse shots, especially AK's. Sad to hear about the kick in the nutz at Magic with the lift ordeal, hope they can get that up and running soon and rebound.
Anyone know of some good places to look for jobs and a place to live in the Stowe area (aside from Craigslist)? I realize it's a bit late, but I'm hoping that there are still some openings somewhere up there, especially after all of the business they got this past week. Looking to make the move as soon as possible.
^^ Might be worth checking the mountain ear, but I'm not sure. Nice to pull the trigger though, eh? Good luck finding a sweet gig.

Was at Stratton today, had never been to that hill before so went to check it out..
Conditions were great, mountain is ok. Would be nice if they cleared out some more trees.

Windy as fuck all day and really roaring the last 3 hours at 10.1` and dropping. Watched bravo stop a lot and it was moving slow so I skinned the in country for some kneedeep powda.

good points. it is definitely true that part of the experience of going to a place like magic is experiencing a throwback-style ski resort, and not a McSkiing experience ala Stowe or Stratton... and totally... sh*t breaks in that kinda environment. it does suck though.
as in most things like this, I say let the market decide.
Being a part in a community that has a serious passion about skiing... No financial dividends, just a shared love of something/place that is so hard to find... Anywhere. Magic is a unique place in a dividend oriented world... a much needed refuge from the bottom line battlegrounds. I hope some day you find and feel for something so strongly that you would put up some of your hard earned cash to support. Unfortunately, you will probably never know or have this love.Quote:
