And Venice, poor bitch, will mop up the mess. She always does. Bezos will set course for his next conquest-Mars, your mom's HOA, whatever's for sale.
The guests will forget the chants, the mannequin bride, the stink of revolt rising from the streets.
Since Gilded is already spoken for, what shall we call this Age? Is Bloated too obvious? Over-Ripe is too long/too many syllables. Obscene seems nice.
