Not sure if this is a '59 or '60's 'vette. Folks more knowledgeable than I can chime in.

Old school pragmatic.

Aldo, you got a McLaren?
Business is good.
Audi timing belts and DSG repairs = $$$$.
Hard to tell the exact year from that camera angle. It’s definitely a 59 to 61 though. To pin it down need to see taillights and grill.

Nah , I’m more a base model guy.

Starting to enjoy this one as it cleans up , 00 e320 120k one owner garaged.. pricing studded snows for the winter.
I am currently farm-sitting at my brothers place near Macon GA. As previously discussed in some thread (this one ?) he purchased a Jailbreak potentially from Bobby Stainless. It all adds up, “used” Jailbreak with under 200 miles at a place in a Nashville industrial park that specializes in similarly “used” Ferrari’s and Lamborghini’s. Sounds like Stainless Motors to me.
Anyway, this is the first time I have seen this thing, and it is incredible.
He and his wife are traveling and I am taking care of the farm. He left me keys to everything, but get this, the asshole only left me the valet key to the Jailbreak!
Does this call for dogshit under the door handles?
The 69 Camaro SS is more fun anyway IMHO, but it is currently undergoing a disc brake conversion, so it’s not drivable right now.

That SS is a beauty. Does it have a Hurst shifter, Holley manifold and Hooker Headers? IAE, I'm sure that car is tits!
It’s coming!for sure although they aren’t horrible to begin with - that was the initial - “ we’ve got the title, start cleaning it up wash “
IMO the best looking Benz ever Attachment 476432 just sitting on a random industrial street
Gullwing or gtfo
Not the priciest but I’m a fan of the 220SE/280SE

I always liked the look of this Merc, but it was prone to leaving the ground a lot.

Look at those fucking pipes.
I bet that thing was loud.
We've been over this before... in this thread.
I've seen 300SLRs run a couple of times at Goodwood and stood next to 722 in the paddock as Stirling Moss got onboard and fired it into life.Quote:
In spite of its name and strong resemblance to both the streamlined 1952 W194 Le Mans racer, and the iconic 1954 300SL Gullwing road car it spawned, 1955 300 SLR was not derived from either. Instead, it was based on the wildly successful 2.5-litre straight-eight-powered 1954–1955 Mercedes-Benz W196 Formula One champion, with the engine, enlarged to 3.0 litres for the sports car racing circuit and designated "SL-R" for Sport Leicht-Rennen (eng: Sport Light-Racing). All were the work of Daimler-Benz's design chief Rudolf Uhlenhaut.
Possibly the most beautiful sounding cars ever.

Fair enough. SLR is not actually a version of the SL. It still looks way better than a Pagoda.
The Porsche designed SSK, this one with a body by touring

second place is the 300sl convertible with a ski rack
Meh, whatever. I also prefer the E Type FHC over the convertible.
I think you're possibly confusing the flipping CLRs with the earlier Sauber Mercedes sports cars
