Mission skied well today. Super fun. Way more snow than my local bumps. Tomorrow should be dope as it snowed a good 3” up top.

Starting to look like I can stop whining about the snowpack this weekend and start whining about the drive to Schweitzer, woohoo!
Well, we're not quite there yet... Forecast is looking promising but it's just a nice down payment for what we really need. 4 feet of fallen (settled to 3 feet) will get the party started. Maybe in another week if this pattern keeps up. Don't slow down on the sacrifices to ULLR!!
half-inch of snow in the valley this a.m.
currently raining ....
le tits now!

Nice 5+” at Mission today. Hike to terrain opened New Year’s. Some nice boot top if you’re willing to work. Beautiful day.

Yesterday was pretty decent as well, nice 1-2” burst of snow in the morning freshened things up nicely. A little more variable off piste, exposed areas a little wind affected.

Really nice and fast groomers at Mission this morning. The skid marks are greatly diminished. A short walk around noon yielded untracked boot top snow. Windy of course.

Yeah, I’ll be up tomorrow. Rumblings of chair 3 and maybe 4 by mid to end of week if this next storm pans out.

Schweitzer skied great today, at least compared to anything else so far. 3" new by 5:00 a.m. and another 9" through the day. Headwall, Ridge, Stiles all skiing well if you know what to avoid. Some of North bowl opened but I didn't go down there. Heard it was sketchy with really not enough cover. Lakeview triple is opening tomorrow so more choices. Another 2-3' expected before Wednesday so, it's on!
Giggidy!! This week is going to be sick!!

I talked to a guy that was at Revy a few days ago and he said the upper Stoke Chair (2k vertical) is skiing great and skiing down to the base of the upper gondola is doable.
At Panorama most of their terrain has snowmaking and most of their runs are open.
At Sun Peaks, thanks to a small amount of snowmaking and 30+ years of on going summer grooming, 111 of 140 runs are open. Stay away from the rock bands on Chute, Big Headwall, Between the Walls, and you won't need rock skis.

Jackass proper was soft, fast and a shit ton of fun today. That is all.

Awesome Monday at Jackass with powder for all who showed up, thanks for staying home.
How was covered on the newly opened terrain?

Collateral had rocky spots Rendezvous was great and since I was the only one skiing it, I didn't seek another run. Everyone was happy especially with NFG gate 1 and Sunset.
FOMO. Worst time to be sick…
