Damn I like this thread! Thanks for tons of good music, people!
I'm quite late to the show but I saw them 2 years ago with The Dropkick Murphys and it was probably one of the better shows I've been to!!
Crappy video I found from the show...

I'm not a huge Dropkick fan but they put on a really great show!
Good video. Dudes wearing golf shirts. Probably got in a round before the show.
Come getcher sloppy '60s garage band influenced punk rock while it's hot:

Career Suicide. Rather apropos given the current events.

It started with a cough
Your skin is turning green
The windows have been boarded on you
And there's no vaccine
At first just a little fever
But now it's attacked your spleen
The doctors won't come near you
Cuz you're under quarantine
Wanted a weekend getaway
And now you've caught a disease
Your lungs are filling with bile
And it all started with a sneeze
5 million people that shoud be behind bars
Blistered, bleeding, covered in lesions
And looking to give you SARS........

Fucking love this album.
Actually, it is not music at all (sorry, I don't have any intention to insult anyone). As for me, it is just screaming and head shaking..
Love this cover of CSN&Y by the Dayglows.

There is a bunch of punk docs on Amazon Prime that I am going to dive into as well as some metal ones. Some I have seen before, but lots I haven’t.
Awesome, innit?

Yes!
Another good documentary is We Jam Econo, The Story of the Minutemen. I'll admit back in the day I, like a lot of other punks back then, didn't consider them all that punk. I had some tapes of them but only listened a few times. Over time I've come to appreciate them a lot more. The Doc is pretty moving, all these years later Mike is still struggling with losing d. Boon

This one's cool. Have we talked about this one? It's cool.
2pm PST on youtube they are doing a premier of sorts of NOFX doing The Decline with Baz Orchestra from Red Rocks. I missed that show sadly, so looking forward to it. Doing a Fat Mike Q&A and 130p and rest of band at 230p.

Ramones debut album released this day in 1976. Fucking A what a good album. 14 songs in 29 minutes.
Too young to see them earlier, but saw them at HUB ballroom in 1984 at UW.
Just re-listening to “I don’t want to go down to the basement”. Still sounds relevant after 44 years!

Just found out that David Greenfield of the Stanglers passed away last week from covid19. This song was on a double album compilation called Burning Ambitions - a History of Punk that was very influential in my youth. I can't help but cranking this up, over 40 years later and it still resonates.

Man, that's a bummer. Pretty sure I have every Stranglers album. RIP
This could probably go under a few different genres, but I'll put it here.
