I'm thinking Trey will sit in for the NYC shows. He lives there. That will be sick.
I got a presale code for Chicago and still got shut out. I’m getting tired of this ticket bullshit. Understandably, there is high demand but the bots apparently have it figured out.
I miss the mail order days!

go to mexico instead
I got on the waiting list. Then tried to buy a CID package and got shut out in 6 minutes.
Available all over stubhub in the 200s...
yup. back when we were putting index cards and money orders into an envelope, letter perfect, we didn't have a back up plan of watching it in HD on a giant tv. But, then again, I'd rather catch all 6 shows at the old Garden than watch it from a couch, but now, it'll suffice.

I’ve listened to two DeadCo shows tonight and it’s ok but I’m just not that into it. Mayer is not my flavor. Otiel is a good bass player but not a great singer. I’ll take a PhilFriends or Midnight North show any day.
Would love to see Bobby and Phil again. They kicked ass at TXR.
Got another shot today. Otherwise Ill have to feed the Stubhub demon.
Boston is a no go today. I think these shows could be something really good. Dead & Co is fun to be at but I don't really enjoy listening to the recordings which is a real measuring stick for me. I'd rather listen to a DSO show honestly, or Phil & Friends.
Lately I've been rocking this Jackie Greene show https://archive.org/details/jackiegr....matrix.flac24
"no tickets but keep trying"
Fuck u Ticketmaster and fuck u stubhub
the heart of the problem is the venues have contractual agreements with Ticketbastard so the artists don't have a lot of say in the process.
240 for the cheap seats. I might go skiing instead.
close enuf
For anybody on Facebook hit the Sunday Night Dead Show page. They're running 5 consecutive complete New Years shows.
Nice.
I went to a few NYE shows.
85,87,88,89,90,91
I went to 88, 89, 90
Living in the Bay Area had its advantages. Chinese New Year, Mardi Gras, Halloween....
I was doing cross country road trips from Philly.
Oh man fuck that. I was driving an hour from San Jose. Never made it to an east coast show. Kansas City was as far east as I got.
shoreline whenever i could, denver, oakland, seattle, pdx and home sweet home eugene whenever they were there. never made it to nye.
Yeah I started in 85 as well but most of mine were Bay Area shows with Sac, LA and Oregon close behind. 90% California. I always heard it was a different vibe back east so I never went.
Bulk of my shows were NYC, Philly, etc, but I did probably 15 or so West Coast shows (including Jerry Band).
And now I’m at home listening to 78 with my kid.

85 or so GD shows from 1985-95 all over the place. Lots in the northeast with a bunch at MSG and NY Metro venues, Philly, DC, a whole bunch around CA, Eugene 90/93/94, Red Rocks a few times, Telluride, Park West UT, Vegas a few times - like I said all over. I've seen most of the post Jerry incarnations but not D&C yet. Saw Jerry a bunch of times in CA, lots of Phil shows over the last 20 years, a couple of Bobby shows with him in different bands from Kingfish to Ratdog to duets with Rob going back over 30 years, many of the other family bands including Robert Hunter four or five times and other Dead family projects and a whole bunch of cover bands over the years.
Scored Weir/Lesh tix for night 1 in Chicago. Anyone else going to be there?
Edit: I still think they outta go back to mail order and campout only. Fuck the algo-bot BS.
Phil an friends played maui last week. fucking sucked.
