She has an amazing voice. Used to see her in PDX dive bars fronting The Balls. Happy she’s getting the recognition
She's not getting a lot of recognition that I know of, but I follow her on YouTube and Facebook
True she hasn’t hit the big time of Rock and Roll, but she’s come a long ways since we would see Storm & the Balls Wednesday nights at Dante’s (a 400-500 seat venue).
She tours with Pink Martini. She’s been on a number of TV talent contests.
Better? No idea. Great though.

Not better than the original, but does a lot of justice to the original, which is one of Costello's most powerful songs.

Good stuff! Sort of loosely reminded me a bit of Phoebe Bridgers/Arlo Parks cover of Fake Plastic Trees https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JKPaA3p3bJU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JKPaA3p3bJU

I was surprised they didn't include the Toots version of "Let Down." That whole Easy Star All-Stars "Radiodread" album is awesome.Quote:

The local radio station got caught in some sort of glir=tcy look where they played this song, by Fleetwood Mac, like 3 or 4 times in a row. It made me want to hear this, which is better.
