Agreed. Not Gnar at all, but a lot of fun. I was pretty excited to check TC of the list this year, along with Crescent Moon.

Attachment 140055 super couloir mt deltaform. I mean with a name like that how can't it be good. Not sure if its ever been skied, its a climbing route in summer though. Heard one unconfirmed report of a ski attempt resulting in a fatality from avalanche.
Heres a climbing pic from inside couloir. Attachment 140054

^^^^^^totally agree. it's got it all.

i love this thread
heavens 11 has got to be up there for the most aesthetic looking line.
combatant looks like a rap entry no????
Pretty sure it’s not the best but it’s a mighty fine couloir regardless...

Throwing this guy in as a consolation, only 1200vert but super fun anyway.

Tower 1 couloir on Mt Helen in the Winds. Has it been skied? It's been decades since I've seen it but if memory serves it's very narrow and very steep--a serious ice climb in season
I'm sure the Grand Couloir must have been skied.

CHOMP ON THIS COOLER.
this a good one we bagged back at the end of april. 2500vt ft sustained at 40 degrees. I have a dozen or so I would love to add to this thread but they are on my old computers hard drive and I have not time to transfer.....

The far right couloir is just gorgeous. Maybe not the best, but over 2,000 vert and 45 degrees. 3 days if you take a ski plane in from Juneau.Attachment 140126 (not my pic)

Shitty pic, another line, never skied. On MT Robson, Beside the SW face, 3000m vertical relief, about 2000m in the Couloir. Still hunting for a winter pic. Line would require multiple rappels but damn fine. Called Great Couloir, would be interested in climbing reports if anyone had any.
Btw to put that in scale, Aemmers couloir, is about 550M in Couloir, Aussie couloir is about 300m, Combatant is about 600.(Aemmers was measured with altimeter, others are with Google earth so may not be as accurate.)
By far not the best, but for fairly moderate skiing and reasonable approach, Silver Couloir on Buffalo Mountain should be mentioned as far as Colorado goes. The tuning fork on Torrey's is also pretty classic...I know its not really a couloir.
I saw this vid several years back - no Fing way...:

Pipeline is one of my favorite.

I remember that day. Nice tracks, huh?! What a trip! Untouched prime corn all the way right down the middle! Minus the walk thru the ice for me.
But also like Diagonal, South, Yale and after this past April O'Dells in Huntington Ravine. Yale being the longest and most technical and most aesthetic of them.
Bagging O'Dells and Yale in a day including the 4.5 hrs roundtrip in the car was the biggest day I have had in awhile. Won't forget that for awhile. That was damn fun.

For me and the lines I have skied San Jaquin Chute in Telluride is the most aesthetic thus far but the Tetons, eastern Sierra and Cascades await. As well as Alaska, Canada, Patagonia and Norway. Lots left on my list.
San Jaquin Chute - pure sexy!

Most Gnar? I'll leave that to others to debate.
DRoc, as you mentioned lines in Crawford Notch are scary steep but rare to come in.
In the east Katahdin is most gnar for sure. A serious mountain - the cold, the access and the size. Look forward to returning this winter. :) This EC crew bagged one of my most coveted lines in the east last March - well done boys! Great get!

south is a fave fer sure. one of the overlooked/under-rated. 1300 vert o steep n techy enough to be fun. pitches that flirt with 50 and spots where a missed turn would not end well. and it goes:)
nabbed her easter weekend wit rob and drew.
here's rob's take on it:)

^^^ nicely done!
thanx ML! you know there's some fun pucker factor when rob checks his speed and ponders some turns. the boyz were nice enough to let me go 1st. well I did kick the booter and didn't feel like waiting the extra time it takes them to strap helmets on and get into their dynafiddles and whatnot:D.
mmmmmm winter on the way........

My favorite that I've actually skied down is likely the Spire Cooolie in RMNP ...
