Just saying, if you want the PNW to be like CO, and have all these pass options, you might want to take a look at the potential downsides. Honestly, that's what's cool about the PNW, they have all these little resorts that all have their own style, and their own way of doing things. Lift tix are usually pretty cheap enough that if you want to visit another mountain, it isn't a massive cost.
Or just sell them all to Vail and get it over with damnit!
Maybe. If the summit isn't open it can be let down considering the logistics of getting there.; long lines and short flat runs. Although, it's great if you're a xc skier and/or looking for a late season golf and ski trip (when the summit might have a better chance of being open).Quote:

People visit here for many reasons and if they can combine skiing or snowboarding with the visit, it will be a plus.
CO and UT destination resorts works great if you’re going to stay in a hotel next to the hill with no need for a car but if you’re going to rent a car and drive around for these resorts, then PNW is just as attractive as CO or UT.

The other thing w the low pass prices is that it takes away incentive for skibums to work at the mtn and has impacted staffing. Getting s free pass was a nice tradeoff to give up some ski days to work. Now it makes more sense to work a night job if you want to ski a lot
