Lots of interesting hardware there, what line of work are you in? TV production?

Ya I don't put a lot of effort in to reissues..
OGs on the top shelf get more thought.. And ya I did ride the ACS boat anchors on my first Alva deck. Old pin nut down trucks all sucked. The ACS 800s and 900s that the G&S team road on the Aces decks were kick ass.
ON topic, also in view where I work and used as background in WebEx meetings..

Nice 70s stoke shot. Wish I had some of mine. Mom threw out all our old photo albums in the dementia... Said something about thinking they belonged to someone else because she didn't recognize any of us.. :-(
Today it was wet

I worked in broadcast duplication and post from 1981-1993. That photo looks oddly familiar. What dark corner of the industry of you work in? Master Control from the look of it.

Kick-turning the shit out of an old Bahne, Chicago Trucks, Cadillac wheels, circa 1974-ish?

This might have been the same summer. They re-paved a 3/4 mi hill near our house (north Joisey) that summer, and we hit it just about every day. Pretty sure we skated the bowls at Action Park this or the following summer.

Same jeans doubled as ski pants!
^^^Banana yellow Hansons, nice!
Similar memories to then putting in a new road extension with a nice flowing slope in our neighborhood once. It was closed and blocked with construction signs for a good week and a half while we tore it up.. Probably about 77. I had Gullwing split axle trucks on a red Alva 27" at that time. We catamaranned that shit too...
Smooth fresh shit like that is where the green Star Tracs ruled. Red and blue for the gnarlier sandy winter beaton tared gravel roads we usually skated in Minnesota.
There was a span of several months about 5 years ago when I was hitting the local skatepark at lunch. I then built a super sketchy mini next to my house. I've all but stopped lately though. Just occasionally bombing the hill around the corner now..

Oh the memories! We catamaraned that shit when it was open to traffic! Not sure how we ever made it out of our teens (only to take up skateboarding 8th and 9th ave, between 55th and the Port Authority bus terminal on 42 daily for most of the 80's).
By 1976 I had upgraded to a G&S Fibreflex slalom board, Bennet Pro Add-tracs, and Sims Comp wheels, after a brief stint on Cadillac DK 51's. I later upgraded to Independent trucks when the base plate for the Bennets cracked with no replacements available, and later still to Street Bones. The board lives in the garage now, and occasionally doubles as a moving dolly.
The corner everyone's been pissing in for the last 23 years. TV News. But alas, no, I'm not in Master. They let me leave the building.

I don’t remember yellow Hansen’s. Had some orange Exhibitions and some black/white ones later, don’t remember the name. Fuck, those Exhibitions were heavy
These were the black/white ones….

I miss tipster.
My older brothers (twins) had orange Exhibitions. I was insanely jealous until I got the Avantis, but not so much after the wax bladder started breaking apart, which was replaced by a flowlite bladder which later burst, but not before the black foam rubber liner started dry-rotting. NFW anyone was talking 12yo Tommy out of those boots though…
At least we didn’t ski Scotts.
