I just watched an old Top Gear where Captain Slow was driving a Singer... BD, you ever have one roll through?

They are getting damn close to perfection on that one.
No. Thank God. I wouldnt know what to put in it. They are awesome though. I think the owners hold on to them too.
I'm thinking this will be a Million+ dollar car.
Colorado Springs Porsche is a dealer I believe.
If it's Strong's Porsche and you've been a regular customer over the years, I'd take it back and point it out. It's an easy fix, usually not much more than $100. Then in the future, take all the stuff you DON'T want messed up to Wheel Werks on 3900 S. Mike and his guys have never really done me wrong, and when they did split a sidewall on a couple year old run flat, they replaced it with an exact tire that was in slightly better shape than mine, without me asking. Not their fault, those tires can split when mounting and removing, especially when they're low profile, but they took care of it.
DeepHelmet thanks!
Happened to be at the Porsche dealership in NH today. New Panamera Turbo for $172K? I had no idea these cars were going for that much.
Babe mobile: Yes or no. How would this compliment the Green Machine?

Id put MAYBE 20-30k over MSRP in one.
Currently arguing with a guy who wants 250k over for his GT2 RS. That's stupid for a non numbered car.
Im not well behaved enough for rennlist. I keep getting banned... LOL
I do scoop a good deal from there every once and again.
Tesla Roadster
0-60 1.9
1/4 Mile 8.8
250 mph
620 mile range
$200k base

Tell Timberridge it’s safe to come back in here.
I drove a Tesla P90D last year and felt the sub 3 sec 0-60, I just can't imagine accelerating faster than that. It just seems to defy all notions of how fast a car can go.
As for the latest Singer, I can't even look at it. I want a 911 so badly and the Singer is equivalent of looking at super model when you can't even get a female to talk to you.
I'd outfit mine exactly like that silver one. (maybe different HREs)
Sick things to do with spare engines

The thing they say about the Teslas is that the acceleration is totally linear. So if those numbers are true, it is one solid pull from 0 to 250 mph. Like being on a rocket launch. The g-force must be incredible.
Never underestimate Tesla. If the guy can land a rocket booster uptight on a moving, floating drone barge when EVERYONE said it couldn't be done, even the sky is not the limit for Elon and his companies.
It's very similar to what the 918 did in 2015 but for a fifth of the price. Actually a tenth if you consider the appreciation of 918.
Telsa's design language kind of sucks IMO. That type of acceleration kills the battery and tends to lose it's novelty as well. Driving dynamics are what make sports car. For that kind of scratch I'd rather be in a mid engine Ferrari.
Porsche is right on the heels of Tesla.

I get your meaning. And myself, I'm fine with 1/3 of the acceleration if I can do so slipping through the gearbox of a non-chipped manual bolted on to a frame with a finely tuned suspension.
I don't think Elon Musk has tried really to emphasize the performance aspects of his cars, but he doesn't really advertise that much in general. I think he realizes that at least for right now, those kind of numbers, especially top-speed, are incompatible with the long-term viability of the battery. But he named his cars after one of the most enigmatic physicists of his time, so who really knows what the future holds for his cars? I don't really think he envisions them for the road, but rather the sky.
Aston has shit the bed.
Ill keep my 7 speed dog leg Vantage with a NA V12.
This is a Mercedes.

Probably one of the smarter car buys right now. Whole lot of car for 180k too (165k would buy it). https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...9353/overview/
Basically the same price as a 911 Turbo Coupe. This Vantage has a 7 speed dog leg manual, NA V12 with more power and limited to 100 units for 2017. Last of the true Astons.

That is one gorgeous car! A true driver's car....not outlandish like their upcoming hypercar.
Hypercars are supposed to be outlandish.
