I'd still have a hard time paying 50-60k, which is what people want for a nice one.
I prefer the SC300 to the Supra anyhow. Nicer car, and cheaper entry price.

Agreed completely! When you scored a cherry back when they were at their lowest that’s a pretty sweet spot to be in though, don’t you think?
Man I loved the old SCs. There are a few manuals floating around you hear about now and then too. What an awesome coupe in those days, so unfortunate what they did with the next iteration.
Ruined it. Looks like an old Audi TT.
I had a 1 of 500 Baltic Blue SC400 (Supra color), and a couple of black SC300s. Loved those cars.
285 mph in a stock street car. Never guessed the Swedes would make the fastest car going. https://www.google.com/amp/amp.timei...e%3fsource=dam

Saw this ^^ earlier, the acceleration from 140 to 160 is mind bogglingly fast. And it sounded like it was idling along at 130 on the slow down. Really impressive stuff from this company.
I thought that he took it relatively easy up to ~ 190mph (gotta take easy on the tires) and then fucking floors it.
That kind of pull at almost 200mph is infuckingsane.

This is same car that set the 0-400-0 record (kph).
I've always kinda liked Sweden......and Norway, too. :D
Those new numbers, especially the one way max, are flabbergasting!!! I had to look twice at that 284mph number. ;)
Those centreline paint strips !!!!!!!!!! :D :D

worth clicking.
And they're all beautiful. It toured the country a few years ago. A portion of it anyway.
yeah, ran as a museum exhibit, ever since I saw it in I think Road & Track I've loved his SSK

I think a number of the Ralph Lauren cars have been "over restored", they are better than when they left the factory. https://paulrussell.com/ has taken credit for some of the work.
The Trossi is quite a special SSK (not that there is anything pedestrian about ANY SSK!). Not sure how many of the Trossi version were made.

Sad ending for a Nismo GT-R on the Tale of the Dragon in Tennessee.

Ahh, the old 911 interiors/steering wheels. Nothing better
Whoops. I meant 6:.
GT2 RS is 5 seconds faster. :fmicon:
I saw his collection at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston probably 10ish years ago. I'll never see most of those cars in person ever again - Mclaren FI, several 250 Ferraris, a few pre-war Bugatti roadsters, Porsche 959, a slew one off race cars.....too many to list.
Carbon fiber nut hatch.
WWMD: Last week, I brought my vehicle to the Porsche dealer to do a service and change out the tires. The wheels on my car are HRE. While the car was there, somehow my left rear wheel managed to get scratched. While, I know that it happened by their hand while the car was in their possession, I did not notice it until today (a week later). I am not happy, but I am also sure that the people at the dealership would never man-up and admit their incompetence.
