I keep stumbling upon the SF90 in my daily travels. Maybe it’s a message?
Million dollar cars. Pfff.

Bobby you really should come hang out in Vail for the Colorado Grand. I was pretty amazed to see museum pieces with engines warm and bugs all splatted on them. Like old school supercharged Bentley, 356, ‘54 300sl gullwing… fucking cool. They set the cars out through the village at the end of the final stage. And, Oktoberfest!! I don’t like Vail too much but as a summer destination, it’s checks many boxes for when my folks come to visit. Was also my folks honeymoon spot.
ETA: that Ferrari would look even better without those two Russian Orcs in the frame.
Driver person there is the sexiest thing I'll see this week and its only Monday.

Im pretty sure that's racewife on IG. She's married to some Google hotshot. She actually can drive.
She runs a LaFerrari FXXK Evo.

AZTEC!!

It actually fits in with the ugly EV trend. Pontiac was ahead of their time.
…Quote:
Apparently, Millennials – those between 18 and 34 – aren't afraid to look different on the road, and they like performance, too. A new study by Edmunds is discovering some surprising vehicle choices by this group. Among them, the long-derided Pontiac Aztek is getting a new day in the sun with 25.5 percent its buyers coming from this generation in the first half of 2015. For comparison, Millennials represent an average of 16.8 percent of used car purchases.
The Aztek is slowly shaking its reputation as a styling abomination, which seems tied to its appearance on Breaking Bad.
How's the Stelvio, TR?
I'm quite enjoying it. It's a Jekyll and Hyde car. Driving around in Normal on the mode selector it's fairly quiet, the suspension is sorta soft. It's still quick but the AT shift points are not aggressive.
Putting it in D or Race mode and engaging the paddle shifters it turns into a beast. The engine goes completely bonkers. It opens up the exhaust valves and gets quite loud. I don't think they pipe in sound on this so it's au naturel.
Most of the time I find myself running around in D mode in manual which is fun...most of the time. Yesterday I started in D, but a couple mins in I decided I needed a break from the crazy, switched it into N and auto and just had a relaxing ride home.
Other than two badges and a quad exhaust it basically looks just like the standard 2.0L version which I like--sorta understated. I don't have every ricer with tow hooks and a blued coffee can exhaust trying to race me.
I got this thing because it will be the last AR of it's kind and I've wanted to own one since helping wrench on my roomate's GTV6 in college. But I have no time or patience for owning one of those. Stellantis is getting rid of the Georgio platform the current Stelvio and Guilia are based on, and moving to shared platforms with FCA for hybrids and electric. When you dig into the nuts and bolts development of this platform, the chassis and suspension was designed by former Ferrari guys, and the 2.9L was designed by a former Ferrari engine guy. So I guess it's like a poor man's Ferrari in a way.
TL;DR Yeah, I really like it so far.
Yes, it would be the 2.0L. The dark blue is a very nice color. Unfortunately it is not available anymore on the quad, or I would have ordered it. The 2.9L Giulia will also have hood vents, a quad exhaust and rather large rear diffuser fins. Also its entire roof and hood are carbon fiber, and up close you can see the weave. A replacement hood on the Guilia quad is $6K. On the Stelvio those are aluminum.

There’s a Quad in my office garage in that color that looks fantastic. Beautiful car and sounds even better.
Which color did you get? I'm not usually partial to blue, but the lighter Misano Blue means business. Although really, all Alfas should be red.
A very Italian story.
I tend to agree with you and I ordered Rosso Etna. It's the nice metallic red shown here. There's another Rosso but not metallic.

15 weeks after my order, as the car was going into production, I get a call. Alfa can't get that paint from their supplier any more so I needed to choose another color.
So I ended up with this color, Vulcano Black, with the red calipers for riser4,

Hot! Looks like Audi black pearl
Thanks simple. For not being my first choice, I've come to like it.
And after seeing Mazda Soul Red in person, I'm not sure any of the Alfa reds can compete.
Yeah, that's sweet. I like the slightly earthy tone. And lots of clear.
I'm assuming there's no orange peel (unlike a certain British car that might be associated with a cat)
those wheels are trippy - almost not there
Do robots even get high?
Hmmm...
Ha. I wonder whatever happened to that bloke? He had a thing for Hermione or whatever her name was too.
A chance to decorate the TR garage with extremely topical Alpha automobilia.

Wider front tires than rear. Makes sense given the weight distribution and bias but only car I know of where that happens from the factory.

Very interesting, you don't see those much at all in the US.
I might end up in the Tammy Wynette thread if I brought that home. Speaking of divorce and auto signage, I had an acquaintance who is a car collector with a turntable in his garage where he housed his collection. He had a sign collection as well. Each Xmas he hosted a party and had the caterer set up a bar on the turntable which was rotating slowly and which created an interesting scene as the night wore on. This amused him. Well anyway, he's getting divorced now and I'm not sure I'll be invited anymore since I am a friend of his soon to be ex-wife.
I've had a number of these:

A gas to drive, a love affair to maintain.
Nice Buster!
