Count me in, I want to do that too, preferably a pink barbie shovel.

When i got a flat seriuosly in the middle of nowhere on a 2 ton delivery van with 20" wheels I discovered
I couldn't lift the wheel but there was a shovel in the crewcab so I used the blade under the tire to lever it up on to the hub with my foot, a good reason to have a shovel all the time
i have since seen you toobes of small chinese women changing tires on big rigs with just a pry bar
I’ve used a HiLift successfully a few times as was pretty stoked to have it. One time was above tree line and a thunderstorm/ snow storm was moving in. If we hadn’t got out when we did my buddy’s truck would have been there till the following June.
You generally need steel bumpers and sliders to really make them useful though. A shovel is a basic must have as is an axe.
Maybe we should market a lightweight aluminum HiLift replica that doesn’t actually have any moving parts. Keep the weight down while still peacocking around town.
Molded plastic.
New Earth Cruiser spotted down the street. They popped the roof canvas/tent earlier today. Wasn't sure if this was in the spirit of this thread, but seemed close. Give them more time to buy the rest of the add-ons. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...ca34ccf182.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...161cd2cbcb.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...373914b2be.jpg

Real question..is the earthcruiser close to the value of a house on the golf course in Missoula?
Also I may have just thrown up in my mouth a little....

Probably close to 50-60%. But, I highly doubt that it is theirs. More likely to be friends or relatives. Seems like I saw a roamer there a year ago.

Jesus. I could see taking that down to South America, however. Truly overlanding.

Need some help with how we score some of this

I count:
Big ass bumper
Winch
Xtra points for shackles?
Big ass wheels/tires
Two red 5g cans - metal
Two black 10(?)g jugs - plastic
Orange tool box
Flat blade shovel
High lift jack
Axe (along rear)
Two more boxes
Points for spare tire on top?
Second shovel (spade)
Points for rear bumper shackles?
Subtract a point for lack of stickers?
Add a point for Utardia plates?
So somewhere between 14 and 18 points sound right?
There are a number of campgrounds in the area. They may have dumped a trailer and driven up.
I like the strap kids stuff to the roof idea to poke fun at them. I have a mini shovel, what would be a good fake traction board? Maybe a little playmate 12 cooler on the roof, could be hilarious at any stoplight on foothill drive.
sent from Utah.
hatchet and machete (although likely to get stolen)
Playmate cooler strapped down
Kiddy sand scoop or garden trowel
Maybe Barbie & Ken
Pull a Mitt Romney with a dog cage and stuffed dog on top.
Nice one TBS. But, on the other hand...facepalm.
Saw this yday, worth about 5

So 2-3 of these types of super small gas cans on your roof I think is a necessity:

A super small cooler is a good idea too
Esty has miniature hi lift jacks for your hood.

Maybe some hot wheels track straightaway pieces mounted vertically along the back. Cause they are orange.
I have a little kids portable toilet too, hehe.

I didn't look underneath it, sorry.
The CRV's probably actually pretty fun. Decent tires, a little lift, awd, why not? I'd cruise Forest Service roads in that. They could lose the bull bar.
Doesn’t Toyota make a RAV4 TRD now?
^ sounds familiar. Subie has the wilderness editions coming out for the outback and forester...Not a bad thing. Probably driven by the overland trend.
Yup, my wife has one.
I like to imagine her rolling up next to a GOTOS truck at a stop light and casually looking over and saying “Yo! Do you even off-road?” and flooring it when the light turns green. That would never happen though.
FYI the ‘21s added front and rear skid plates.
Wish my phone camera wasnt shit. Saw prob 30 good ones in one parking lot in Bozeman. Including a pristine Raptor with every color rotopax, awning, rooftop tent, and the "cleanest" brand new bright red shovel. There may have even been plastic on the shovel.
*says the guy whose wifes runner would score pretty high....

Fuckin Hell... I need to get off the internets
If you win it and want to avoid looking like a poser, I'd be happy to put some miles and scuffs on it for a very reasonable fee.
