Lookin' good, but you need some silver fork decals to match the frame. ;)

Under 31 is not too bad for a 160/170 with the Zeb, real tires, and inserts, I reckon.
Sweet ride, and impressive weight! I'm barely 1/2 lb lighter with 150/140, a Mezzer, and fake tires with no inserts.
Well, the tires are just EXO+ and not DD, so maybe still a little fake.
No...I broke the front rim crashing (my fault) into a dry creekbed...and the back rim hucking meat. The other shop guys all had issues with the first gen, but none with the second gen which came out summer 2020.
Me too - second generation seems better but I now run inserts. But I suppose I should run DD?
The hubs have felt awesome for me, but I'm no hub-expert.
That is crazy light for as much bike as that is, especially with all the shit you got strapped to it. My Gnarvana is 34.5, granted with a DD rear tire, coil, and an EDC... but still, all the components are dentist grade.
it really is light. It was weighed with all of that stuff off of it, though.
Downhill fork service. That cost a pretty penny. FWIW, the guy said it looked like sand and mud inside. So I guess it was worth it.
Newmen wheels, 200mm discs and a Baron/Kaiser f/r combo.
Going on my Strive, and probably on a new bike after this season.
Don't really trust the Reynolds hubs after last season.

Evil Following
I was in the shop Saturday and saw the big box of parts with my name on it. New XT drivetrain and four-pot brakes with a rebuilt rear wheel.

Built up this quiver killer last Friday.

I can figure everything out, except the spare crank arm, what's it purpose?
So much going on here...
Single speed... with a road rear derailleur tensioner!
Zefal pump as rear shock
Spare Zefal pump on chainstay
USE (?) suspension seatpost -- what's strapped onto the seat tube?
Softride suspension stem (quill mounted inside of threadless steerer?)
Random placement of brake levers
Cross tire up front, mtb tire out back -- mulletastic!
Is there a 3D violet Cook Bros crank mounted on the other side too?
The full lineup

That kinda looks like a ‘tongue in cheek’ build, by a bored shop mechanic trying to go viral on ‘the funny side to bike mechanics’ Facebook page.
Taking the piss would be my guess, but hell, there are freaks out there...
Try harder Rideit. Or maybe, less hard.
Purple crank was added purely for aesthetics because its fucking purple ano. Rear brake line was too short, so we put it on a bar end on the left side so it would reach.
Softride quill stem is indeed mounted in the steerer, atop the other stems.
Friday night, 2 mechanics, 10 beers, 2-ish hours, and the bounty of the weird shit we have here at the Cyclery.

Beautiful joetron, beautiful!
I’m just devastated by the use of a 7400 Dura Ace rear derailleur on that monstrosity. Surely there was a lesser piece laying around the shop
Thats hilarious. A buddy still has a mint og tomac. Thing is shining. Still jas the blown rear hub from year one

We’ve got a more than a handful of these in a drawer.
No 7400 derailleurs were harmed in the making of this monstrosity

Hey, I thought it was some random image on the internet...if I knew you built it, I would have left the comment alone.
Nice work!
Needs a N.O.S. Bassworm or a Rollamajig.
And maybe some Powerstraps?
Haha. I figured as much. I mean, it really was built to amuse bike dorks on the internet and it put our weird little shop on the map for a bunch of folks.
Power straps on the Keo side would have been dope.

Finally pulled the trigger on a new bike (that was shockingly in stock) - 2021 Stumpjumper Comp. Really looking forward to this season, rides super nice.
Vorsprung Smashpot for my Fox 38. :)
Piece of art. Itd be great for any slow speed cruiser i think. Moto, E or regular bike. Not the quickest bearing change when its that time [emoji41]

It'd be interesting to try a back to back test of the smashpot and the secus

Vanilla guerilla!! Thats good. I prefer coil shocks and forks just easier to swap the coils on r shocks. My last coil shocks were marz 380's and a 55 wc ti. Great feel especially the 55. Hoping the secus gets my 38 close to a coil
