Bloodline on netflix is worth a watch.
Late to it, but loved Season 1 of Animal Kingdom.
On to Season 2 :)
It's been on hulu a while, but The Thick of It is perhaps the best/funniest British show I've ever seen. Peter Capaldi as Malcolm Tucker is brilliant, the writing is just stupendous. Worth watching over and over.
^Yup, Bloodline is good watching. I'm on episode 3 of season 3.
ORPHAN BLACK (seasons 1 - 4 on Amazon Prime)
Recently binged the hell out of this.
Season 1 is solid.
Season 2 is pretty solid
Season 3 starts to derail
The first half of Season 4 is still derailed, but comes back with a vengeance the last few episodes.
Cool, snarky sci-fi (reminded me a lot of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which I wasn't terribly fond of, fwiw).
Season 5 just started, but only one episode and you gotta pay for it. Will wait for the entire season (the final one, btw) to watch.
FORTITUDE
if you dig arctic horror a la John Carpenter's The Thing, then this might be up your alley.
Only 2 seasons.
Season 1 is nuts.
Season 2 is a bit off-the-rails, but still solid.
MAD DOGS
only 1 season, but it's solid.
imagine The BIg Chill, but on meth, crank, uppers, and tons of alcohol. oh, and with a mega dose of the old ultra-violence.
Its really good series lot of actions and exciting.
watched all of Bloodline, not a single likable character in that show. some dark shit, good series though
Riveria started on Sky in the UK last night.
Great start.
We just finished watching the series last night (13 Reasons Why). Very heavy material. Not exactly the feel good show of the year as expected, but I found it to be very well done and quite compelling. I have a three year old daughter and it's depressing to think about what she'll be facing in another ten years or so.
My wife didn't think she would want to watch it because of the premise, but she watched the whole thing with me.
I'm Dying Up Here
Great start
1st epi, second season Preacher EXPLODES out of the gate. Turns out the entire first season was background ......
Yeah, I know I'm behind the times, but just discovered True Detective. First season was great. Haven't started season two yet.
Nice to be able to get HBO without a cable subscription now.
Caution: lower your expectations drastically.
Just started Preacher. Only one episode in, but holy shit this is a wild ride.
Can we please get Season 2 of Black Mirror?
Sinner (USA): creepy and kinky - good potential.
Haven't gone through this whole thread, but has anyone checked out "Ozark" on Netflix? Stars Jason Bateman and Laura Linney, with Esai Morales playing a psychopathic drug lord to perfection...Holy shit the first episode will suck you right in...Great show.

^^^^great show. Finished it a few days ago. There's another thread out there: netflix instaview recs or something. All good reviews in there.
You didn't feel the tension?? And what's not to like about finger stomping foreplay?? Granted, it's no Night Of, but I thought they balanced the foreshadowing with enough present day action to set the stage well.
Since it's USA, we have to suffer weekly installments, so we shall see.
On Amazon I came across a Cinemax series called Strike Back. 4 seasons of the awesome exploits of Stonebridge and Scott and the stories of Section 20. If you like to watch SAS types get the bad guys, I would highly recommend and the first 3 seasons are free on Amazon. Likely the best series I have stumbled across in a long time.
I second Strike Back. That show was sweet. One of the main characters went on to Blindspot when the show ended.
Has anyone heard of a second season of Luke cage in the future
Ozarks on Netflix is amazing.
My problem with Luke Cage was partly because of how much promise it had. They started putting together this rich tapestry of Harlem, and a lot of the characters were really interesting. And lord knows the music at the club was fantastic. But then they killed off one of the most interesting characters, and introduced a new and mostly ridiculous character and storyline that dominated the second half of the season. That ridiculousness annoyed me that much more, when things were so interesting to start.
I liked it, and would watch a second season
yeah, well, you also search and read spoilers for GoT, so your judgment is suspect. ;)
