I was in Detroit for work last week and there were two white guys driving a late model Grand Marquis with WHTMAN as a vanity plate.

Check out any random car in Illinois. Almost every single fuckin plate is personalized. Pretty much everyone has their name and the year they graduated high school. Its an epidemic
Not really a license plate, but I saw "I wish my wife was this dirty" written into the grime on a ford pickup yesterday.
My future brother in law has a Maine plate "NYY" on his Q7 audi. he is a huge Yankees fan who spends lots of his time in Manhattan working. Sittin' on 22's too. So as i was driving the thing home a couple of weeks ago from NYC to Boston i was wondering what % of people on the mass pike were thinking "what a fucking asshole." Shouldn't be long before the drunkards in Portland get their hands on his pretty new Audi. HA HA!
