This for sure. 3 was getting stacked but no one was really skiing off-piste. With Ikoneers blacked out and expensive flights and hotel beds it’s a particular crowd that’s in Aspen. 7” reported up high at Highlands; it was socked in all day yesterday and there was a strong, microburst yesterday afternoon. I’ll be at Aspen this afternoon for a few. Got to rip around Buttermilk yesterday with a pack of 5th graders. Skiing remains fun!

Read that Aspen will be closing some lifts on weekdays due to lack of crowds. It's seriously gotten so expensive that us mere mortals can no longer afford the price of admission. It's one of my favorite ski areas to ski, and have always had great times there with the wife. All that is to say, that a bit jealous you RFV mags have such an awesome piece of the mountains all to your selves!Quote:
