Yep this was a cancelation. Funny story. We were at trail night 1. A group of like 6 backpackers come into camp and tell us they're heading back towards boundary and are gonna camp right next to us...they basically hang out on the river next to the hot springs and fished and generally just hung out in camp. At one point they try to start a fire next to the hot spring and someone yells at them that they have to have a firepan and we are responsible for this camp. Then the one single dude from our group goes and offers beers. Group gave strong Mormon vibes but they took beers. Later as we're hanging at the boats drinking whiskey etc one guy(fairly young) comes over and hands over a bag of shrooms and says thanks for sharing camp. Fucking middle fork.
