It is going to be a while, solely because everyone in Jackson would get all butthurt that their property values will go down approx 1%. People are taking out 1 page ads in the paper to prevent a 1.2 mile connecting road from getting built. Can't imagine what making the pass easier would result in.

Neckdeep is right about Rexburg, that place is the pits. However, from everything I've heard they profile hard. So don't drive the VW bus or Subaru with Dead stickers on it, don't have dreadlocks or be brown skinned, and no one blinks an eye.

Two lanes would be a nightmare to build and fund. Before that happens i could see a couple snow sheds over the Twin and Glory slidepaths.

I don't even see how they could make it two lanes most of the way without bringing in millions of yards of dirt. Maybe that isn't that difficult since its almost dump truck season anyways.

I see snow sheds and no trailer traffic year round happening first.

Which connecting road are you talking about, South park Loop or whatever to Hwy 22?

You guys might be giving some of these townie cops too much credit. I'm going to bet a high percentage would not know the meaning of many stickers, especially Dead stickers. Although, I would agree that no stickers is a safer move, except maybe those bible fishy types...sans legs of course...ahh, they wouldn't know that either.

It's true. I played police/fire hockey and was recruited into a mens league team of all cops. I listened to their conversations with each other quite a bit...they know exactly who they're looking for and why.
