Really "digging" Gold Rush. It's some reality discovery show. Good scenery of Alaska and you'll feel really smrt watching these dudes make bone headed decisions.

Someone should tell the "geniuses" at Silveroakcasino.com that the word they were they were trying to use is "averse" not "adverse."
Anyhew, watched "Cabin in the Woods" over the weekend. Holy shit, I loved it. Campy, silly, creepy & suspenseful. 46.3/57 stars.

Yeah, great tech twist on a plot as old as storytelling. It even had Ripley!
Dark Matters: Twisted But True
It's narrated by Walter from Fringe. Slow to go, some good tales along the way, but it ramps up in episode three with a story about the CIA dosing a large village in France and framing it as ergot contamination in the rye bread, followed by the discovery of Alien Hand Syndrome, which is trippy as hell. Turns out each side of our brains holds its own separate intelligence which, when the connecting tissue between the hemispheres is severed, can act very independently. Great episode.
Danno - the chart asks 'keep it mellow?' then recommends Midnight Cowboy. I chuckled.
chronic pain and insomnia strike again:
"i think i cracked a rib."
"giving me oral pleasure?"
"no, retard, from the fight!"
El Infierno. A must see. Subtitles though.
^^^ what he Said. El infierno.
The Thieves.
This is a Korean/Hong Kong collaborative caper flick that starts out light and breezy like Ocean's 11 and then gets hectic like The Raid. Great cast, engaging story, killer action sequences. Top notch.

I humbly suggest making it a double-feature with Ca$h, a French caper film starring Jean (The Professional) Reno and Jean (The Artist) Dujardin

More WellGo Goodness
Just watched Painted Skin: The Resurrection.
Super solid (4* out of 5 in my book) sword & sorcery fantasy wuxia about doomed lovers and fox demons.
The fight sequences were well choreographed and featured really clean wire work.
The use of CG, while somewhat prevalent, was easily the best and most sophisticated I've seen in a HK movie to date (it was used sparingly, for the most part or so good that it didn't distract from the action like some of the crappy CG that can be featured in these types of films).
Good acting and incredible production values. Had elements of Conan (the stories, not so much the movies) and Ronny Yu's classic The Bride With White Hair (which, btw, if you have never seen you need to; it's a classic New School (mid-90s) HK wuxia). Speaking of Conan, I kept thinking that if the director, Wuershan, were to take a crack at Conan, perhaps it might get the cinematic treatment it deserves...
