Oh yeah, it's Thurs.
See what happens when I get all excited?
I'm still definitely in with at least one other. Is there any kind of consensus on when people will be meeting to head up on the saturday or is it pretty much a go when you feel like kind of thing?
i have no money so i think i'm out for this. :(

Lets hope this changes by next weekend..;)
Very icy surfaces should be expected in all locations. Falls in steep terrain will quickly become uncontrollable if you do not self-arrest immediately. A thousand foot fall at high speeds often ends in very undesirable results, but with current conditions even short tumbles could be bad. An ice axe and crampons are an absolute necessity in any angled terrain, which does include the Lion Head Winter Route and the summit cone. The Lion Head Winter Route is not one of our forecast areas but does have potential to produce avalanches as anchors have become covered and snowfields increase in size. Many of these suspect snowfields are well above average in size this season. Venturing off the marked trail quickly puts you in more significant avalanche terrain. It’s important to make your own avalanche stability assessments and use safe travel techniques when following this route. The John Sherburne Ski Trail is open from top to bottom.
deja vu...?
Wasn't that posted earlier this morning...?
Still not exactly sure if I'm going, but I'd be down for that. Problem is that I can't leave till probably 4-5 PM on Friday and have to be back by 7PM on Sunday, so I'm trying to figure out if that makes sense. Would you be okay with that njfs? It's just a lot of driving for not much time skiing.
tucks says that ice axe and cramp-ons are necessary for this weekend. hope that changes by next weekend, cuz i don't have either. anyone have extras? or this warning just to be on the safe side?
What's the best forecast for the area? North Conway is showing rain for next weekend, but I don't know A) how much that will change with time, or B) how that forecast differs from Mt. Washington. Some inside info would be appreciated.
Well i am no expert but i believe mt. washington is located in crawford, nh, and they're calling for rain as well. but who knows what conditions will be at elevation. however it did rain there last week. so who knows. whats the consensus among those who are going? Is there a RAIN/(Terrible Conditions) DATE?
here is the 10 day report for mt. washington from the weather channel:
