they're going to a used panty vending machine for you?
I'm geting 4-5 emails from/about Jaime Harrison every day.
Next time I donate money to anything I'm sending cash in the mail anonymously
Emails from Vail that tell me I have to call them about my credits from last year. Calling/waiting/on hold is annoying......Can’t I just do this online?
Has anybody mentioned over-merchandising in grocery store? Every time I turn a corner I kick a cardboard standee full of some new flavor extension of Cheerios I'm never gonna buy, or I have to wait for somebody coming the other way to clear the 18 inches of space they left between the floor displays. Can"t Shoprite just increase their slotting fees for end-caps and leave the aisles clear?
Are you seeing that recently. Generally speaking variety is way down because of the Covids. I don't remember why. That's a pretty thin silver lining for a very black cloud but take what you can get. (Personally I can no longer get diet orange soda.)
We go to a neighbor's house for chili on Halloween. Started when our kids were trick-or-treaters and parents would do shifts. Now we just eat chili so we don't have to hand out candy at home. We've done the bowl thing. As best as we can tell no matter how much we put out the first kid takes all of it. Which is the capitalist way. Each kid taking one piece would be "from each according to their ability, to each according to their need" which is the definition of socialism. And if there is one thing that Halloween is not, it's socialism.
I was shocked to observe how much remained in our bowl ....... little fuckers stole the tongs, though.
We had more kids out than I’ve seen in years. Had to run to CVS to re-up around 7:30. Everyone just had tables out in front. Had a couple of teenagers come through twice and take a few each (we had the good stuff) but most kids were with parents and respectful.

Picture framing is sooooo fucking expensive!!
I do not understand this one, but ESPN has stopped linking to their game recaps from the boxscore/"gamecast". The recap is just the article about the game, and it used to always be linked there. So after I check out the overall scoreboard, I would click on specific games I was interested in to see what the stats said. Then if there was something about the game that I wanted to know more about, I would read the recap/article. But that isn't linked there anymore. Which is totally bizarre. And mildly annoying.
dead batteries....
Assholes in pickup trucks.
Not all assholes drive pickup trucks.
Not everyone who drives a pickup is an asshole.
But the overlap is stupendous.
