no
FedEx is useless up here. The contractors don’t like to drive this far so they simply don’t deliver.
That app lets me see that my package was put on a truck in Tracy, drive around all day, had a “delivery exception”, then went back to Tracy. Day after day after day.
fuck FedEx
this is why we need the USPS, and it shouldn't be a political issue. The whole point is to have a carrier that HAS to deliver to unprofitable locations.
yes
Mikey, I assume you called the office where its currently located and dicussed arrangements for delivery?
Next they'll want high speed fiber optic internet service.
Sheesh.
Rural Trump voters:

^^I see no reason to brand ~mikeyb a rural hick because Fedex won't drive to his house. He has a problem, and this sort of thing is not helping solve anything.
The 40% of the voters in this country that will vote for Dump. They are giving me DDS and my anxiety could make me go postal.
I'm not referring to mikey specifically. And I say that as someone who spent their entire childhood in an area that is rural as fuck, now lives in a city, and is quite happy to continue the arrangement as I think it's mutually beneficial. But, I do get annoyed at the rural folks who think they exist entirely independent of cities. Some people do to a larger degree than others, but no one does completely who isn't living entirely off the land in a teepee, and those people are so rare that they might as well not exist.
Well, we tried. I suppose other than fruitcake or honey, we should just be grateful it's not some food you ordered.
The mailman who delivers mail to our office building is one angry mofo. I'm convinced he's going postal on someone one day. The UPS and Fedex guys are nice.
got one pair today
they cancelled the first shipment and sent another and refunded the freight charge
wouldn’t it just be easier to do it right the first time?
saves me $25
Getting anything delivered here is an adventure. Ordered discontinued ski from REI, to pick up in Reno. No UPS, no Fedex, no USPS involved. Right. One pair had 2 gouges in the topsheets and into the core--each about 3/8 by 3 inches. Called REI and whined and cried and they are shipping a second pair by UPS to my house without waiting for me to return the bad ones, but I have to go to Sac this weekend anyway so I'll drop them at the store. Now we'll see if UPS can deliver.
The skis were still in the plastic which was intact. Looks like Nordica's fault.
I bought cosmetic blems but I can’t see the blem.
