Delta Airlines....
Cancelled a flight in April to HI for my daughter..600.00. Upon cancelling, Delta was to refund the flight cuz of Rona/travel restrictions to HI at that time.
Well, for 2 months no refund....so I disputed the charge with AMX(Delta card)....because the refund was taking so long.
Today, I get letter from AMX that my dispute is a no go....Delta claims the flight was non refundable because I cancelled it....so now I have a 600.00 credit for future travel....but I cancelled all my Delta accounts/cut up cards, etc.
I now have a 600.00 charge that I cancelled 6 months ago......that I have to pay.....yes, I am annoyed.
^^^
That does not add up at all with similar experiences I've had with AMEX/DL during this whole pandemic. Sucks as I'm sure you've done the work, but for us we cancelled a bunch of travel on DL (booked on DL AX) and got refunds within a week or so.
I know some people have had really good success making a complaint with the Dept. of Transportation Consumer Complaint Line with COVID related cancellations.
also, complain on their social media pages (FB, Twitter). Those often get results that normal complaining doesn't.
So ...... Karen for president????
*Update...On phone/chat with Delta/AMX tonight....Delta did refund the 600.00 back to the card used at booking.......so now have no idea why I got that letter from AMX today?.......they/AMX just said it’s all taken care of/disregard the letter....totally weird.....but it worked out after putting some time in on the phone/chat the last 2 hours.....
Definitely not annoyed anymore....is there a “shit that satisfies you” thread?...lol
Knew a guy named Richard Payne. Liked to be called Dick. Great salesman. Great marketing. No secretary or client ever forgot his name.

Gotcha, thx
With the server door closing I’m back to having to manually delete the stupid sent from my iPhone and repeatedly turning off the signature option in the iOS app
This kinda annoys me, no other place to really put this:
I was lounging on the patio enjoying a not so hot day when I heard what sounded like a horse cough. Just a single one. The kind of cough horses do when they are eating hay which in and of itself was weird because they are turned out right now but still could have been a bug or something they accidently inhaled. Anyhoo, I sit-up and look out to the pastures some 80yards away and see Jackson with his head up on alert staring at Sonny who is also head-up and looking around. They both seem fine so I think maybe I forgot to close the tack room door this morning and the wind blew it shut but just for good measure I decide to go check.
I get down to the barn and the door is latched. Cats are lounging on hay bales and everything looks normal except for the horses who are now running around. I give them the once over, ply them with carrots and think maybe something fell down in the hay loft so up the stairs I go.
At first glance everything seems normal then I see it. The glass top of a 20yo patio table that has been stored up there for the last 12 years has shattered into a million pieces and the glass on the floor is still making crackling noises. Just like that – BOOM! How weird is that? After all these years, through all kinds of sub-zero and triple digit temps, today when it’s a mild 80 degrees it explodes.
One of my cats likes to sleep on it. It’s possible he jumped up there for a nap which is what set it all in motion but still… why?
cat pushed it
I’d imagine whatever cat had set the whole thing off would be more than a little spooked for a long while afterwards.
Also, aliens or poltergeists or some shit. Probably.
I was smoking a brisket on my deck. I keep a fire extinguisher nearby. Turns out keeping it in the sun is a bad idea. Although when I see "smoke" pouring off the deck it is a relief to find out it's just the fire extinguisher leaking. Last year I had an old fire extinguisher--this one was in the shade--suddenly blow it's top. The neighbor came running with a bucket of water to put out the "fire".
