Snowblades + powder cords + jeans = Winning!
Snowerblades in the terrain park and half pipe FTW. Training for the McSchlonkey?
Great vid. The song was perfect. I laughed. Thank you. That is all....
I always thought Cohee did a great job as far as day to day operations went. If there were not enough ticket checkers he would do it or get one of the other upper managment types to do it. He parked cars, picked up trash, bumped chairs, served cocktails, sold real estate. He never thought he was above certain duties, he knew that sometimes you have to do the dirty jobs even as a ceo to make things work right. He also stood behind his employees 100%.
He was just a puppet for chuck cobb & it gave him a bad reputation as a real estate sell out.

i never really knew him, but my problems dealing with kirkwood started the first year he was gone.
that daffy at 3:12 is smooth
Kirkwood regulars sure do complain a lot. ;)
Alpine Meadows today: corn, slush and glue. Holy shneikes was it warm and mediocre.
i recommend trying squaw (ie KT) during weather like this.
during high pressure tahoe experiences temperature inversion.
that means it's colder down low.
the overnight low at squaw's base was 28 last night.
alpine's overnight low was 48 (a full 20 degrees warmer)!!
the higher you go, the worse the snow will be.
you can observe overnight temps with this site:
NOAA Remote Sensor Data
i guarantee KT was good today.
to see for yourself, go to squaw and visit granite before hitting KT...
KT will be way better, even if you go there multiple hours later.
if you could fuck a chairlift, i'm guessing kt would be yours
obviously. although there would be a long line in front of me.
actually, it looks like i completely messed up reading the data.
there was no inversion last night and it was uber warm everywhere (must have been cloudy)...
sorry about that, JimS. my apologies.
that being said, when there is inversion (ie the rest of this week) what i said is true.
(there was a 15 degree difference between alpine and squaw tuesday night)
Fuck I guess I came home from cham too soon, Putin!!!
Troy Caldwell now says that he has a handshake agreement with KSL.
Oh, and 'dork -- ABC stole your map.

Similar to 10, just faster and the scanners work. Attachment 134796
and in the background you can see the singles line for 6 goes to the top of chair 7...
