Exiting freeway this afternoon I'm stopped at a red light in the turn lane. Opposing light turns yellow as a pack of cars approach the intersection. Didn't seem like the first ones would stop even as my light turned green. Sure enough they didn't. Meanwhile guy behind me is honking his horn at me wanting me to go. 4 more cars went thru the red after he began honking.

I had found a pretty nice fishing hole on a mountain stream that was guarded by an epic patch of devil’s club. Went up there this past weekend & someone had macheted their way through it directly to the spot…fucker
Liquid Soap taking over the world. Bar soap is basically extinct on the shelves and has to be ordered on Amazon. And does powdered laundry soap even exist anymore? I’m tired of paying for water weight and plastic waste

Bar soap is for the uneducated disgusting plebs. What is the last thing you wash in the shower? Then what is the first thing you wash in the next shower? Yeah. Even Joey and Chandler figured that one out.
I buy my bar soap at the craft brew so i can just put it on my bar tab and I'm never out of soap

Well, in any place that isn't my shower, I want to use liquid soap. And at the sink, liquid soap as well. But in my shower, I want a bar of soap, but I also have face soap. So the bar may touch nasty parts (though I make sure never to just set it down after washing said nasty parts, I "wash" the bar before putting it down) but it never touches my face.Quote:

I wash my face with head and shoulders shampoo, per my dermatologist.
Our targets around sf have none of them. No bar soap, no power laundry or detergent. I just order it thru Amazon. Haven’t seen bar soap other than maybe [emoji637] option at the supermarkets since pre covidQuote:

Don't use soap on your asshole. Soap is basic, asshole likes acid. And don't scrub, especially with a washcloth. Google pruritis ani. Dr Bronner’s on the loofah for the dirty bits, and avoid soap on the face unless covered in construction dust, bug dope, or slaughter residue.
And the bidet, even if not heated, has negated the need for a deep scrub of the asshole. Highly recommend.

9.5 months of the year, our windows stay closed. But now that it's open window season, my mental door closing calibration is off. The pressure build up that lets me throw a door closed without it slamming only works with the windows closed. So now every time I go to the bathroom, it sounds like I'm pissed off and slamming doors because I toss them closed like it's still winter.
This happens to me every year, and every year, my brain recalibration roughly coincides with fall when the windows get closed again.
