Can do. As they are they suck.
Eldora's trees are more gladed than they were 15 years ago, I think.
I wish more of the mountain was gladed, but the named tree runs -- salto, Bryan, placer, gully -- are just fine as they are.
Totally not worth it on a powder day like a couple weekends ago.

Learned to ski at Eldora and been skiing their trees for years. Salto had some incredible turns on the upper section but then it is simply too tight. I understand there are some runouts that are much more open, but in the thickest spots its hardly good skiing.
Just racked up 140,000 vert in four day’s at Steamboat. Sleeper blower day on Tuesday. Dry and chalky after that. I love place. Great hill, great town
Sorry you are wrong. eldora has done nothing to trim the forest growth over the past 15 years. It is run by idiot hippies.
I've gone up in the summer and cleared some trees for my private stash so I'm satisfied but the resort does nothing to fix their choked out trees.
Passed Bluebird Backcountry on the way to Steamboat earlyish this morning. 40+ cars in the parking lot. Almost full up. Guess they are making a go of it. Good for them. I think we underestimate how many people are happiest on low angle and/or blue runs.
We need snow. Some cool light out there today though.

We didn’t have a cloud in the sky, all day.
Skiing was off the charts.Attachment 318683

Anyone got job leads for an out of work project manager? Company just cut a bunch of managers yesterday. Reduce salary to make the quarterly numbers. It's just businesses, nothing personal. Loved how the GM tried to make me sorry for him having to make the "tough choice" because the corporate overlords deemed it so. 17 years with them. Other guys that got cut were older and even more years.
