^^^Those are beauties, BFG. If the second or third ones happen to be in the Sierra, I'd love to get more info in a PM.
I would like to make a trip to Canada some day to ski some of the beauties posted here. I also find San Joaquin to be very aesthetically pleasing.
Based on what I've personally skied, here are some of my local nominations (and photos) in no particular order:
(1) TC seems crowded these days and it's not particularly steep. But it's just a very cool and distinctive line and a tremendously fun ski.
Attachment 323322
(2) RS could easily be one the 50 Classics. It's aesthetic, steep, and sustained for about 2k.
Attachment 323323
(3) This unnamed beauty in the Sierra. It's about 6k', starts off around 40 degrees and then quickly mellows out to 30-35. It's south-facing, which means the stars have to align to ski it though.
Attachment 323327
(4) P is like TC but longer and mostly wider. If you get it in the right conditions, it's super fun.
Attachment 323328
(5) No one seems to talk about LPP and few seemed to have skied it, but I think LPP's couloir is very, very rad. It's steep (45ish), it goes directly from the summit, the mountain and line are as aesthetic as hell, and once you're done with the couloir, the "apron" is 4k' of 40-35 degree skiing.

Also not my photo.

(6) G's north couloir is steep, intimidating, aesthetic, and fun.
Attachment 323332
(7) M isn't as classically couloiry in appearance as the others, but this is one of the best lines in the Sierra. It's sustainedly steep (50-40) for over 3k', historic, highly visible, and so aesthetic that it was used as the backdrop for the Paradise Planet in one of the Star Trek movies. It's also a ridiculously fun ski.

mr. hankey: Wanna lead me through the ice on that one ?
Hint:

Beartooth moutains. the second two I imagine are skied often probably a few TR here on then. The first one is over 12 miles from the trailhead so probably does not get skied as often.

Full 900m Coulie up the Tonquin Valley. To put into perspective Funnel of Death on bow peak is 600m, Granddaddy is just over 300m. The 20km approach in winter is a bit shit but theres a host of other dope couloirs up there.

Attachment 324239
Like this one, about 700m from fan to top and 300m of fan after. nice and steep at the top just over 55degrees for about 100m then 200 of still steep 50 then 400m of just cruising 45degrees.

South Couloir off Mt Burgess. Right off the transcanada! another super rad line. about 800m in the couloir but mostly 35-40 degrees just go for a rip. The south exposure makes good conditions tougher to time but we ripped solid pow T2B
^^^^ sik
always thought that zone has the sexiest couloirs in na. id give second place to the san juans with the eastern sierra a close third
This thread has sort of evolved from any single winners and just a monster list of classics to smash out!

Hello, dear friends and fans. Hope you all would be fine and having a great time. I am your very own Steve Sadiq with the ultimate Apple solutions. Today I am going to discuss with you a very important article that is linked to our everyday life.
This thing faces west and holds over 1000m of couloir skiing well into May most years. It is rarely skied as it requires a bushwhack from the valley floor to access it.

Dudes, I am drooling!
Has anyone mentioned Forever Young in Rogers Pass?
https://live.staticflickr.com/3645/3...03d03e59_o.jpg
My favorite in the Pass is probably Lone Pine proper. It starts as a tight, steep committing couloir, and funnels into a perfectly pitched slide path. Its 1,400 vertical metres of sustained fall line from top to bottom. Photo from Doug Sproul's Rogers Pass guidebook.

Maybe NV isn't known for having the sickest couloirs "in the world", but here are two more fine desert lines!
Terminal Cancer is playyyyyyed by the way...

Also Macdonald #9/10 in Rogers is also classic

Always swore off TC since it is so hyped but finally ticked it off this past weekend. Pleasantly surprised with good snow, no other parties and a super easy approach. Not the steepest line by any means but deserving of its legend.
’57 Chevy in the Beartooths is a personal favorite albeit not the best in NA by any stretch.
Wow, Amery Notch is certainly aesthetic.
Dreaming of the Moonshine Couloir on Mount Arkansas. anyone ski it?
That one is sick. With how close it is to the TH you'd think it might get hit more, but that TH is still a ways from much. Went out to ski it one time, got the timing wrong. Did the sweet 'little' line across the creek from it though instead, what a hoot. Always love that zone.

Definitely one of the favorite couloirs I've gotten to ski through.
^^ That looks awesome. Love some off camber couloir wall skiing!!!
Heres another Rockies Classic, Pioneered by Skian himself! Shralped er 2 days ago!

Sick! Did u drive or sled? Do u know Henners? Our buddy tomahawked that hole thing on a snowboard. Henners was with him. Initiated a 2 day rescue which Saved his life!
Drove to 500m from trailhead then a washout stopped us. Fuck Tomahawking that thing would be nightmarish, Im guessing he somehow avoided going skiers right off the top! all the sluff while skiing went to the bad place. Glad to hear he survived fuck that would be scary!
Unfortunately changed his life forever. Induced coma for 3 months... brain injury etc...he’s doing good though- we ski all the time, he’s super grateful to b alive. Love that guy!
Interested in meeting up sometime with u. Looking at doing some missions into canal flats area. Lived in fernie couple seasons, more than capable. Like sledding, touring, winter camping etc. Some good mtns out there. Be in touch. Just picked up some atk’s...lol
Shit, well glad to hear he can still get out and is making the best of it. That would have been an absolute brutal crash. Would love to link up some time. No sled here but hold a toe rope pretty good haha. Based In Louise/Golden depending on the season but love a good road trip mission.
Not sure if it qualifies as a couloir and definitely not the best but a gooder. 7yrs ago today. Mt Smuts south faceAttachment 331537Attachment 331538

Yes, summit is the snowpatch on the right. Looks boney but it was pretty well filled in. Nice corn ski. Vertical escapes me. 3500ft?

In those conditions smutts actually lookes almost like a couloir haha. Such a beauty line with nice consistent fall line! Loving the rockies takeover haha.

looks like it was 7 years ago yesterday or the day before . June 12 or 13

Submission for best micro couloir in N.A. Small in vert, big in incline. Aesthetically pleasing. "The Crack", Mount McLean, just east of Prince Rupert up in northwest b.c.
