I do have a small group of friends who give a shit and we go out to eat. I bring like 6 bottles and have dropped a few servers' jaws. Even there there's less knowledge and interest than there used to be. I've always offered tastes to servers (can ease corkage fee damage). Last guy wouldn't even have a sip (clearly had no idea what was on the table) and there was some cool stuff opened. Oh well.
