I know that you have no love for these center consoles, but they get you to the goods quickly and they have all the latest and greatest gadgets. A marlin hunter for sure. So, next time that you want to do 90 on the water, or catch a few sails and marlin, let me know.

I didn't think that it was horrible. I liked it as a fishing boat. We caught a lot of big fish on that boat. However, if I was the one picking out the boat, it would not be the Nortech. I am more partial to a 60' Viking or Hatteras. Still, it was good to play around on 2 weeks/year. I really can't complain.
No, no you can't.
Invincible 40. You really need to spend more time on THT:)

The above thread shows what some of the cat's can do these days.
Guess that's why it didn't say Freeman on the side.
THT is a shitshow. Too many Yellowfin guys on there.
I would love a 26 Calcutta for Mass striper fishing and an all around day boat. Except I want to be able to do the overnight thing with the wife so maybe not??? Last cat I was on was a 20is foot Sea Cat in the early 90's with first gen twin Honda 45 4strokes. After too much THT exposure I want to go 50. For now I will stick with my little 22ft cc.
My little 22' center console is sold as of the day I take it out of the water in the fall, a friend is buying it from me which works out super well with the slip and everything, so I'm kinda slowly shopping.
Similar to you I want to be able to do an overnight alone or with the wife. The boat I really want is an Albemarle 25 express, they're pretty spendy new and hard to find used but there's a nice 2016 one (looks nice in the pics at least) that's been for sale for a while down on Long Island that's fully optioned out that I might be able to swing if I get the "go" sign from herself, we'll see if it's still there in the fall.
They're nice boats: https://www.albemarleboats.com/25-express-edit
Unless you guys are like 5'2, that is gonna be a tough sell on the overnight.
Mine is 34', and it is still a bit tight.
I would see if you can rent something or try one out first to see if overnight is even really an option.
Just my $.02
I was on one last year and it seemed adequate but that's about it. I'm 6'1" not 5'2" and i didn't lie down so that needs further exploration for sure. Plus there's also the question of whether I'd even use the cabin, which I hope but who knows. Also been looking at Regulators and a couple other boats. The main thing is the daily nasty chop in Buzzards Bay, 2-3 every damn day in the afternoon, I'm tired of getting beat up by that. The Albemarle is a tank, it would be fine in it. I really don't like the way cats look but I should get over it I know.
Hey, she gets a dog, you get a boat. Seems fair to me. And get the 29, you won’t regret it.

Some Audi driver in our town just picked up a new Rossiter, though the weird bimini kinda wrecks it IMHO. Not sure if it is a 20' or 23". Beautiful boats and modern classics:

Is it a Nordhavn?
I kind of almost bought a boat the past couple of days, a 2017 Regulator 25 that came up on Boatrader 3 days ago at a very good price, I emailed the seller that night, talked to him the next day, we arranged for my buddy who lives local to the seller (Wrightsville NC) to go see it today but last night the seller texts me he accepted a deposit on it.
I thought we were moving pretty damn fast and somebody ran right past us. I wasn't planning on really doing anything on a boat until fall but this was a good deal and I was scrambling but shit the boat sold in 2 days. Apparently the used boat market is blowing up because covid.
Palmer Johnson. His previous but was a St Barths Bucket Regatta winner.
I think it is a 2870 for reference.
Yeah WH i've had that in the back of my mind, I know it would be a good boat and a good deal. Like I said I wasn't planning on doing anything until Fall when this guy takes my boat and I have his cash in hand but this was a good deal on a great boat so I jumped, just not fast enough. Thanks, I"ll circle back around on the Pursuit but don't have him wait for me.
They are tanks. I've looked at a couple 23's, now they have the bracket and they're even more tank-ish than they were. The 25 would be ideal for me though, so that's where I've been focused. Well and that Albemarle express which I love but people keep trying to talk me out of buying an express and they've made me doubt it a bit.
Yeah actually my buddy lives in Topsail too, the boat is in Wrightsville and he was gonna run down there for me to check it out.
Otziceman-
He isn't waiting. He still hasn't listed it. He bought it as his dream dive boat, and I think he honestly doesn't want to give up on it just yet. His dive days are over, and selling this thing will remind him of that. At least that is my take. He has redone the entire boat, moved tanks around, ditched the poop tank(since he would be out 30 miles anyway), added more water storage for more wash down, redone all the thru hulls, added 2 brand new Yammis that have basically nothing but break in hours on them. I want a friend to get this boat. It is amazing- Trailer, Full, to the chines cover, brand new engines, etc. Only thing left is to remount the CC and wire it. The fact that this is the only hold up leads me to believe he is just delaying the inevitable. It will still be here in the fall, winter, maybe next fall. Let me know if you want pics and details. I think he would be in the 90 range. With new engines, that is a steal these days.
This is the layout.

I am only getting 3% commission on this deal. I really want you in this boat!
