I love the headline. Leave it to the NY Post.
that was at custer park in SD but it could have easily happened in jellystone.
I don’t understand why people are not more afraid of bison. when I have to ride near them on my road bike I’m always puckered the whole time.
I think I may have seen bedazzling on the ripped off jeans
Probably coming from the Sturgis clusterfuck. Not the sharpest tools in the shed, that bunch.

Woke up one morning in a Yellowstone camp ground to a Bison grazing outside my tent. At one point our heads were about 1.5 ft apart and he was looking right at me through a mesh screen.
I just laid still while he went about his business, and he moved on, carefully stepping over guy lines. Seems like he’d done that a few times before.
He had horrible breath.
Not Yellowstone, but maybe relevant here: https://www.oregonlive.com/news/2020...ok-county.html
....Quote:
Morgan Warthin, a Yellowstone spokesperson, said that two Idahoans and a Utah man toted two “cooking pots” into a remote part of the park in August, where they dipped a pair of whole raw chickens, held in a burlap sack, into one of the Shoshone Geyser Basin’s boiling geothermal features.
One of the accused told a judge his intention was to “make dinner”.
By far the best one yet.
I mean, what's the problem here?
You use a burlap sack for your sous vide? Interesting.
itsa flavour enhancer....
So it belongs in the boiled meats thread. DD to the white courtesy phone please.
It's a new year and.. Spandex is still a privilege and not a right.

Funny how the one bear charged a bit and the other two said "I am outta here".
Yellowstone bears are trained pretty well, they were probably thinking "I don't want a ranger to see me tangled up in this shit".
