Its been close to three years since I last threw a cast on a DG flat, I fly back in less than two weeks[emoji2]. I wont be able to get out quite as often as I was in the past mostly due to a new job and work schedule…..but I do make the schedule…. So I will get some days in.
i'm not much for jealousy but this thread does it to me.

It had been just about three years since I last made a cast at this place. The tide was high, I was by myself but what else was I going to do? On day one I made only three casts….. at three different GT’s. I hooked up to two and one missed the strike. One landed and one popped off after I forgot about line management.

A couple weeks later one guy flew in to join my ship. I first floated the idea to him in 2022 when we were chasing stripers outside of Baltimore while our ship was there. He came prepared and absolutely killed it on his first day that wasn’t rainy and impossible.
