I'd go at 10 pm. Throw it in 4, smoke a joint, and you'll get there. You aren't hitting the mess that is summit or eagle, but we got 6 in the last 2 hours, so winter is coming.

WP was great but god damn what a shitshow. Half of WP was closed. Lifts were down. Parking was nuts. Lines were Ikonic. But holy fucking blower and it skied like the 16" that was on the stake.

Elboora was AOK with 10” new reported. Howling winds though

Was blown into some wild ass drifts in the backcountry runs. Slabby in spots

Highlands was pretty good, you could definitely hear the underlying snow.. and it did ski kinda funky not in the trees... but I just stayed in the trees.

So my neighbor has been trying to get me to ski the Jane all Winter. I gave in last week and again today. I succumbed to being tired of driving alone all the time.

It's been 20 years, since I skied there, and I've forgotten my way around that place, so finding freshies after 11:30 was a challenge, and the place was bumping up by 1pm.

With 20" reported in the last 24 hours, I've never seen powder get annhilated so quickly. Ya know that Bond flick where the villain has someone thrown into a pool of pirranahs and the body is consumed in a flash? I guess I was one of the pirranahs.

It was a good 2 hours of pow.
