I'll be amused if "going a little Fritz Sperry" becomes synonymous with skiing avy chutes in spooky conditions.
Nice little morning at the Beav:

Berthoud was phenomenal today as well;

Mary Jane was great today. Lots of stuff filled in overnight. Caught the opening at Eagle Wind and Vasquez, missed Pano opening because I was on an hour long phone call for work. Oh well, still a really solid mid week pow day!
ill bet not much left but I’m heading up anyway. My lovely wife was a eldora yesterday and today. Said yesterday was fresh tracks all day and today even in stashes it was skied out.
Im hoping there are a few WP/MJ pockets left but not holding out hope. Unless cirque was closed yesterday.
I was at Eldora today. It was really nice, good soft snow everywhere and some powder in the trees, but it was not a powder day.
anyone skiing WP/MJ on Saturday? I am going to brave the masses, but so far it looks like I'll be doing so solo.
Thanks guys. Trying to decide whether to skin or ride lifts tomorrow.
Along those lines, any feedback on Copper and the Basin from today?

Basin was cold and wind affected, but definitely soft and fun. No crowds to speak of, pretty mellow. Should be a nice weekend. I'm looking forward to a few sunny warm days coming up here.
seriously tho MJ was great today. Caught a snowmobile ride out to Vasquez, was stupid good. Eagle wind all morning. Then went and hit the chutes, good snow and no people at all. Really cleared out after 11 or 12.
I just wanted to report that I was at work in the office today. Good work by you guys!
Fuck was the Jane good today. Knee deep UNTRACKED all over the place as soon as you poked your nose into the trees.
Shit - the run of the day was Sterling Way - didn't even need to go into the trees for untracked - just punch the center. Wife and I did probably 6 laps on it.
Jeff's Chute was pretty scratchy for the 1st 1/3 of the chute, but the lower section and Runaway (trees) were just titties.
We hit one lap on Pano late in the day - conditions up top were shit, but the trees off the ridge gave up some goods.
Late April, May Hells Cliffs sessions will be on!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...5d72ac927e.jpg
