Smooth Jazz SS. Thanks for the stoke
Finally had that morning on the FR132 here in VT and they over index in every way.
Compared to L138's that I have owned in the past I really appreciate the damp ride when skiing chop back to the lift.
In untracked they deliver in so many ways.
I think there is only 1 or 2 left on this run.
I also got my C132s out for the first time this weekend with a bit of an overnight refresh turning to hot pow at Alpental. 200cm C132s, mounted with STHs at 90.5cm from the tail, per Marshal's recommendation. I went into it thinking they'd be a test run or two on less-ideal-snow, and then kept them on all morning long with increasing grins, especially for a couple deeper laps out the gates before a big warm-up started. Firm, packed snow coming back inbounds took some getting used to (and definitely showed me the floor for these skis), but the any soft snow provided super fun surf/drift/slash. The ability to pivot sideways and make faceshots out of very little was amazing. Old tracks under fresh, hot chowder when it warmed up -- all of that felt smooth and easy without a traditional sidecut hooking up.
Thanks to those who encouraged me to pull the trigger on the 200 after the rest sold out. I'd probably still prefer the 190 for touring, but it's shockingly easy to pivot and maneuver the 200s with the R/R design and low swingweight in particular. If I skied them without knowing the length, I'd never guess they were that long.
With pow days that get tracked and packed out pretty quickly, I don't think they'll ever be an all-day resort ski for me, but I can see grabbing them more often than I thought. I'm hoping to get a few more pow days this season, and maybe I'll get motivated to go Quiver Killers for STH and a touring binding next year.
Dude! Awesome! Love it. So glad you are digging them :)
and just sharing a little more EC + 132 pow skiing love
There is a pair of blem undrilled 200 BC132s in the outlet for anyone looking!
I've been kicking myself since they sold out! Put like 20 touring days on 138s last year and will never not have r/r in the walking quiver again!
Likely they'll get some flavor of atk, just have to decide how low a riser i can put up with. I did like the giant riser on the solly mtn's for trail breaking, something these will be doing pretty much every time they come out. Psyyyched
Edit: Meters have you posted any impressions vs your protest ULs anywhere?
Hats off big props to Marshall.
Anyone could dupe an old ski.
He’s a fart smeller that is inspired by the classics but adds some hot sauce to make them better.
I have a photo i would love to post but the forum won’t let me. You guys will have to imagine it. It was a deep day.

I finally took a lap on mine, so fun. Make low angle pnw concrete great again! I do a lot of solo BC, and these are exactly what the doctor ordered for feeling rad in terrain that is not. That said, I'm really looking forward to skiing these on a steeper/deeper day because I think they're gonna be a blast.
They are exceptionally loose/maneuverable running bases flat, and instead of pulling you in to a turn at all, they seem to have a slight preference to 'return to center' back down the fall line. With a little more angulation, slarved turns start to feel a little more like carved turns. They have a little bit of the frictionless feel of a renegade, and some of the same reverse camber 'bounce' on the snow. Almost like loading up a wakeboard to get some pop off flat water.
Anyway... Stoked on these thangs! Thanks Marshal!

TC-sized too!
Unfortunately, I have not had enough days in them yet. I broke my collarbone a few days after they arrived, and so have only had 5 or 6 days on them so far. And those days were with boots (since warrantied) that had tons of play in the ski mode due to rounded ankle rivets (ZGTPs)...so can't really give a fair review of them yet. Hopefully by next season!

I may have just doomed myself to multiple low snow years, but damn am I excited to get these mounted up!

First couple of laps on the C132 today, these things rip!
Adjectives that come to mind: schmeary, effortless, poppy, solid.
Nice skiing!

Got some fresh snow and a lower freezing level the past few days. Put 8 laps in on the C132s at Whitewater. Possibly a bit overkill for 15-20cm of fresh but totally worth it!

Overkill? Looked like perfect kill to me! That was rad!!

Damn you Marshal and your divine siren snow sticks!
Sick top sheet!
Man if you had that in a women's size my partner would be all over it, she loves that topsheet
To be clear, I love it too but already have a C132 [emoji14]

Shit, just what I need, another shiny object...and it's purple...PURPLE!! I've already got a pair of the OG 190's and I'm trying to justify picking up a pair of these purple boner generators. This is a problem
Attachment 498244
I'm so lucky that my boner carries me a long way.... Yeah, eat it! Haha!
Can't really justify the 132's, but I am excited for the BC110 I just snagged. I think and hope they'll be a grin inducing, playful, directional touring buddy, next to the alpine mounted FL113's
no long dongs? sad
Asked chatgpt to roast my 132s.

Hehe
Love the Vipers on those.
