I bought a Dos Equis for the Most Interesting Man in the World once.
You ever had their chicken parm? It's quite good.

The amount of trashing of people in this thread based on total speculation and rumor continues to amaze me.

Accurate words thrown around by those who know
Negligent discharge of a firearm. - most generous description of pointing a gun at someone and pulling the trigger
Involuntary manslaughter. - least charge
I don’t think anything nefarious happened. Just egos and stupid assholes
Mixed with drugs and alcohol. - that has to be in the mix
I'd rather it be him than her.. But, I'm still betting it was her trying to make points with the cool kids without Baldwin's knowledge that it was happening.. If it wasn't after hours when nobody else was around then Baldwin might have been in on it. Sounds like it happened after hours when he was long gone back to his fancy hotel.. The low paid people stay there in campers.. That's who was bored..
Also, had Baldwin known there was plinking with real ammo in that same gun very recently he might have been more vigilant to DOUBLE check the gun before pulling the trigger with it pointing in the direction of a human.
Alex Baldwin is hiding out in Manchester, VT. Maybe he’s staying at Treat Williams house in Dorset.

Wow.
The amount of just made up garbage you spew is scary. This is what is wrong with the world today. This opinion above is your “facts” until you hear otherwise.
Christ almighty.

^^^Please don't quote him
TIA
My bad.
I just worry the more dim witted posters and lurkers read this garbage and think “yea, he’s onto something”.
Stop the steal crowd mentality is strong with that Jong guy.

You might want to lighten up quite a bit on your rampant speculation. I’ve worked on that set/ranch and only stars and highly paid production types had trailers, the low paid people had to gtfo to hotels/home. Some stars went to hotels to be sure, but the movie trash had to leave the ranch.
Sorry for quoting him, but I’d like him to stop posting so fukn much bullshit. I see I was late to the party tho.
I’m glad I’m not the only one. Just total garbage.
He’s actually making up the feelings and emotions that random people felt around his made up scenarios.
Pretty ridiculous but that’s what happens when people are mentally weak and can’t deal with the unknown. They make up their own reality to fill the void and give them comfort and control.
But yea, just shut the fuck up.

NONE of you know jack shit about what happened there that day or the night before. We're ALL speculating..
Fair enough. I'll wait for the investigation to see who brought real bullets and who was "plinking". Still got my $5 on Baldwin not being involved in the "plinking" or adding real bullets to the set environment. If he was he needs to go down hard... Low paid grunts, not so much.. but definitely need to regulate that shit a lot more obviously..

I didn't click the link, but still, not sure what the issue is with Baldwin being seen at a fancy restaurant. For someone of his means, eating at a high-end restaurant is roughly equivalent to me getting some pinto beans out of the freezer.
Yep, bunch of speculation. FWIW, the armor and her lawyer released a statement claiming the gun was locked up when not on the set for a scene needing it.
Speculation below..Quote:
When the crew broke for lunch, the guns used for filming were locked in a safe inside the props storage truck, Gutierrez Reed said. The ammunition, however, was left unsecured on a cart. There was additional ammo inside the prop truck.
After lunch, the film’s prop master, Sarah Zachry, removed the guns from the safe and handed them to Gutierrez Reed — Gutierrez Reed told investigators.

Yeah, I cook pintos (and garbanzos, sometimes blacks) 4 lbs (dry) at a time, and freeze a bunch of portions, which I can remove and thaw out whenever. Tastes far better than canned, and sticking a baggie of frozen pintos in the fridge takes far less time than cooking some up from dry.
I wonder how many people have a key to the locker? 2 maybe 3 people?
She seems to be saying I had nothing to do with this
The boolets got in there by magic. And I don’t think her attorney is suggesting that
Use some common sense and narrow down the possibilities
The was definitely plinking going on. Live round were intentionally being used in the gun
The gun was definitely for Alex Baldwin in the movie
A live round was definitely in the gun when it was handed to him
He definitely drew cocked aimed at the woman behind the camera and pulled the trigger?
We’re still waiting on the details of exactly who when and where. People will talk. They already are
I need to prepare for the zombie apocalypse tomorrow morning. . Big long day of competition pew pew
You realize the only other explanation is that someone on set intentionally thumbed live round (s) into the weapon on set when no one was looking?
So the armorer took the gun out of the safe and didn’t check if it was loaded then pronounced it a cold gun? Brilliant incoherent ramble.
It’s not even like there was supposed to be a blank in it, it was supposed to be empty.

Respectfully no. What was left of the slug was removed from the director’s shoulder. I can only speculate on what the bullet hit after hitting her but they are talking about her being paralyzed before she passed. That would suggest it traveled though her hitting her spine
45 colt is a brutal round. Heavy and kinda fast
I just keep watching and stringing together what makes sense
When the story came out I did speculate about what probably happened. As the facts are reported. It’s going the way it had to be. Even though the primaries have lawyered up. There were a lot of people around. Not to mention disgruntled people who are not looking to cover up for anyone
I’m looking at the Tim Pool stuff more than anything. He ha a bunch of investigative reporters and fact checkers. He has not disclosed that much but enough
I don’t really care about the story - I’m just here for the firearm safety advice from MTT.
I don’t care what Alec did, or did not do, he was in the Hunt for Red October and his daughter is a Tiger.

I watched the presser mid day when they said that.. It was then that I finally accepted the fact that it wasn't a fractured wad and a REAL bullet. I like to give folks benefit of doubt in situations like this. but... whoever brought the real bullets to the site is the cause of all of this. Everyone who knew about them is just as guilty or more than the people who passed the gun to others saying it was cold without checking it. Call it speculation. Disagree.. Whatever. It's just chit chat until we know more about who bright the bullets and who played with the gun (assuming that happened, sure seems like it did if there were bullets in it).
