Gonna be interesting to see how much they let Chabloz influence the Stockli culture.

Feeler FS / price check: SR 105 186 with Marker Schizo 14 bindings, silver tartan topsheet (I think that's 2019), barely used

Can't really say I love them either.
Too damp and not much pop.
Love it or hate it, smooth and damp is pretty much their defining trait.
That SR105 is Scott Schmidt’s DD at Yellowstone Club. He’s an ambassador and hasn’t moved on from that one to the newer boards.
They are damp and yes you won’t pop but when you get a lot of days put together and your body is achy the calmness really pays off for me. My all time fav is a ‘13/‘14 SR95 192.
Has anyone spent time on the ~2016 Stormrider Pro 115? 137-115-128.
Searched but didn’t find any real world beta. I’m looking for something to float on pow days and still be able to giver once things get chopped up, this looks like it has potential?
The FL116ZF would be closer.

A good friend of mine claims this is the greatest ski ever made. Granted, he raced at Dartmouth and remains a very directional fall line skier. Says it is quite demanding, but has all the qualities you would expect from a Stockli race ski with the floatation you're looking for. He just broke his in half, will have to encourage him to look at a HL option.
Drilling these next week and then setting them aside until post X-mas, 188 cm.

$ 475.00 last spring seemed like a nice price point
^^^Nice
I have a pair of the 2019 vintage in 186. Great on everything except firm hard pack and ice. The dampness makes bumps chop and crud a breeze on my beat up knees.
They will punish you if you don’t stay in the front seat, but will give you 1/2 sec warning before ejection.
And since you ski Big Sky, be advised the base material is not ON3P or Praxis tough. I put a good size divot on one by running over a ponderosa pine cone.
What clamps are you mounting on them?
My tuner has two pair of stormriders he is unloading for a great price
176 stormrider 95, c 2019, one mount warden demos

161 stormrider 85, don’t know the vintage, one mount warden demos

Sorry for shitty pics, can get better ones if desired. His shop had skis everywhere
Both are in great shape, bases pristine in storage wax
He has more skis than he can possibly use, and these just don’t get into the rotation.
$200 each plus shipping from 97759
PM for details
Edit: The SR95s are spoken for. The 161s still available- get the lady in your life a ski she may end up loving more than you.
Just tried the current 95 stormrider in 188 in some horrible early season wrod conditions. It's on my shortlist now for sure. Like a little brother to the legend pro. Very fun.
A pair of STHs that I had on another pair of skis. I asked my Tech to mount them 1.5 CM forward. Thoughts?Quote:

I have 3 pairs of the same ski in a 108 width by 183 length (not a Stockli) & 2 mounted with STHs (others Dynafits for touring). One pair is about 1.2 CM forward and I prefer them over the other pair for their quick turning. Time will tell.
Check back in with impressions once you’ve exercised the new skis. Will be quite interested
Mee too.
Relevant: but not mine
2021 Stockli Stormrider 105, 179 cm - $475 (Truckee)
https://reno.craigslist.org/atq/d/tr...808950007.html
Stockli Stormrider 105s in nice shape. Some light topsheet scratches, bases are in great condition and I will put on a fresh wax before selling. Skis have about 15-20 days on them.
The skis have nearly new Armada (Salomon) Warden 13 demo bindings that can adjust to essentially any boot size without tools.
The ski has been mounted only once total for the demo bindings, and have only been used for individual use - never used in a demo fleet.
*Bump*

I smiled as previous rider
Fantastic skis
Mounting 2016 Pro 115s.
To avoid old holes I can mount +1 or -1.
WWMD?
I’d naturally go +one as I have on many of their modelsQuote:

I've got a pair of 2007 193cm Stormrider DP Pros with Look Racing 14 (pre-SPX I think) bindings. They need some TLC: two core shots and a crack on a sidewall. They're obviously tanks and appear to be intact, but need the right set of hands to bring back to life. $85 shipped?

110tt's. 2012 vintage.
That's correct, but there was some kind of import/distribution snafu that kept them in a warehouse until about 2017. Anybody know of someone actually getting a pair in 2012? They were billed as Stockli's first specifically designed powder ski. A fairly mellow flex and a sidecut of 30 meters. I've never seen a pair except in the 192 length.
So i've got it in my head that i need a pair of these. Specifically looking for the 201cm length, >100mm width. Any of you connoisseurs know what year(s) i should be looking for- 2011, 2014?
Those of you who have owned/skied them- I really love my explosivs and LP's but looking for something longer/wider. More similar to my 198cm RC112. Is a big-ass stormrider the ski i want?
TIA
How are you liking them? I agree with that dudes friend these are the greatest skis ever made I have the 195cm one. Went to Fernie a few weeks back and there was no snow so brought my HL R99 Comp. In Tahoe now with heavy crud fresh and the Stockli Stormrider Pros are amazing. 3rd year on them but first trip which they've had a fitting boot I got my new Mach 1 130 LVs dialed in enough to fly with couldn't bring them to Fernie and I was swimming in my old cochise 120s on your steeps.
Anyone know if Stockli plans to ever make a free ride ski like this again? Heard the new Stormriders are very whippy. Wouldn't think twice about a 105-110 metal laminate Stockli.

2014, in my opinion. My buddy was (still is?) a Stockli dealer for many years and he believes this was the pinnacle. Comes in a 201.
The DP pro was it imo. I’ll go to my grave on that lol
Yes! Those 201cm 2014's are definitely what i'm looking for.
I'm getting old (am old, whatever) I got a pair of those 201s pre-covid because I sell Stockli and our rep was retiring and cleaning his garage out. I don't claim to be the greatest skier in the world but I can get around, I like(d) Legend Pro Riders/Corvus/Shiro/Big Dump etc.
Other than super-g or DH skis I don't think I've been on a ski that accelerated that fast when the tips were pointed downhill/fall line. In my case terrifyingly so. I'm 5'9" 160-170lbs and felt like Wile E Coyote strapped on a rocket. The days of enjoying or being able to use something like that are long gone I guess. I gave them to one of my staff that was young dumb and full of cum as they say. He thought they were best thing in the history of the world.
Same here. I am not worthy at all. There was no neutering of some of those Stormriders back then, those skis were all business.
Price check please. 2019 Stormrider 105 188cm. Skied 5 days, still in excellent shape. Drilled for STH 28.5
Fair price please?
