I wish the cyborgs luck in finding ammo for it.

Have you seen the fuel rating on that new Dodge Ram they released to compete with the Raptor?
Did we really need another Raptor style beast on the road?
Luckily, the wife and I drive a combined maybe 10,000 miles a year between our two cars…I know people commuting from Silt are getting hit hard.

My unscientific sampling tells me that everyone and their wife has already bought a Ferd Effthreefiddy Screamineagle or bigger in the last 10 years. You can't drive through a parking garage without feeling like you're in a canyon between the rows of trucks that will never see a hitch, much less mud. Local Whole Foods is a good reference point.
$2.99 for premium at Costco in ATL.
$1.55CAD/litre or $4.58US/gallon (given a 1.28 exchange rate) here in the hinterlands.
It's a sad time for this country when the ONLY car/sedans Ferd makes (2022 & on) is the Mustang (& GT)
We need to stop subsidizing oil companies, aka-corporate welfare for the gas giants
Every POTUS since 1975 has kicked the fuel mileage standard down the road, fucking pathetic
All I know is $4.50+ a gallon and a 25 gallon tank makes me say ouch. Lucky I don't drive much these days.
$4.63 now for premium in sbt, no discount. One less takeout dinner to offset the cost.
$4.25 +/- 20 in JH for premium.
$3.99 for diesel and my TDI gets between 35 and 47 mpg. Asshauling down the passes makes for killer mpg's.
Regular is a mere $3.80 in Central OR, but may be going up. The cheapest place In Bend has same prices as those in Sisters
Premium 93 is mid $3 range, low $3 at BJ's and regular is all over at or under $3. Reward points got me to 25 gallons @ $2.29 for 93 on Tuesday. I have another $1 off in reward points for the next fill up.
And yet oil is mere 60$ a barrel…
Shits out of control.

Wow, I thought $4.69 was painful.
$6 here. Gone up a lot this week
1.999/L. I think 2s are on backorder. If this is what it takes to squeeze Putin sure.

It’s backwards to fool people into pressing the first one, which was traditionally the cheapest.
Someone got a promotion for suggesting this, I’m sure.
(This is my theory, and I’m sticking with it! ;). )
I’ve seen a lot of pumps like that

4.19 here
It's a plot to get everyone on electric cars.
I just checked and premium can be had for about $5.10 down in Bishop today. By time I drive down to get the wife and pups it will likely be $6 on the 18th. Lucky I average 26mpg on the highway, but that 1200 mile road trip down to Coronado, back up to Mammoth and then back home at months end will cost me. O well, what is money for but to spend it?
There are all kinds of tin foil hat theories you could go with this......
"COVID didn't work and they couldn't keep people at home, so now they invent a conflict in Europe that will drive gas prices up to $10/gallon in USA. This will reel back the movement of people in USA and keep people home. Question is why do they want us to stay home so bad? What do they know?"
The answer is out there

So I did some research after I posted this…. The Mendocino Chevron (where I unfortunately filled up) is in competition for most expensive gas station in the USA with the Gorda (Big Sur) Chevron.
So the recipe for expensive gas is:
Bumfuck Coastal CA + Granola + Chevron

I'm starting to feel like I chose the wrong time to do a 4k mile road trip. 12mpg all day yesterday and forgot to fill up before leaving MT for Canada.
somewhere between 6-7 $ a gal up here, I don't sweat it much

My parents are supposed to drive to Alaska this summer…. 12-18 mpg diesel when towing their camper. Wonder if they will still do it.

It’s been equivalent to $7-8 / gal for so long in so many places I’ve traveled, I always felt anything under $4 here was a bargain.
Is the diesel truck market heating up even more now as a result? Friend’s 4WD F250 is getting 24-25 mpg…
