You just don't seem understand that the guy is going to kill someone if he feels necessary to do so. The gun is not evil it, does not have a brain, it doesn't walk, it doesn't pull its own trigger. The guns do have irresponsible users but those people are going to use whatever means they find convenient to murder. If its not a gun then it will be a pipe bomb. Because when I look at the statistics the US is a violent nation and the tool of choice is the firearm.
